June 23, 20188 yr Poor game management last 10 mins by Sweden. Had free kick to give away at the end. World class player produces moment of quality.

Just 30 seconds before that free kick they had the ball deep in the German half, they went for goal with a tame shot, should of gone to the corner flag, schoolboys don't make those errors.
June 23, 20188 yr I know they just won but is Low paying for being too loyal players that have played for him in previous tournaments? Boatang looks a shadow of his former self. Reus made less than 20 appearances this season, Gomez had only scored 9 goals this season. Not taking Sane seems so bizarre.
June 23, 20188 yr I just saw an official FIFA advert of a drone delivering beer to a fans in the stands despite the fact fans aren’t allowed to be seen on tv drinking beer. Then I realised it was bud and they’re just making sure fans drink water and stay hydrated. Thanks FIFA!
June 23, 20188 yr Never rule out Germany, they seem to find a way. but Swedens Wall was so wrong and the keepers positioning was wrong.

I meant the bloke who gave the free kick away, but turning his back on it was bad too.
June 23, 20188 yr I really like Brandt, i seem to recall he came in as a sub a few times in the last World Cup and did really well in the short amount of minutes he was given.
June 23, 20188 yr I feel for Sweden, ultimately though the competition needs the best teams and the greatest players through to the knockout stages to produce a tournament that is great. England having a good run helps too.
June 23, 20188 yr What a ridiculous free kick to concede.....just stay on your feet and force him out wide ffs. Despite looking a poor side I have a sinking feeling this German side will do what German teams usually do and progress to the final stages.

But then I'm usually pessimistic.

They will make the last 4 atlesdt they always seem to grind out results
June 23, 20188 yr Credit to the Germans, went to just two defenders near the end, gambled and produced the goods.
June 23, 20188 yr things are really not looking well for Argentina atm rumors are now emerging that the Argentine locker room will decide the Starting XI vs Nigeria. Edited June 23, 20188 yr by robdog
June 24, 20188 yr Watching this World Cup makes me realize just how much we failed Hazard. He's been forced to play under defensive managers whilst surrounded by players nowhere near his level. Put him in Madrid's team & he'd be considered Top 3 in the World. He's easily been the best player in the tournament so far.

June 24, 20188 yr Sterling and Lingard keep their places, despite awful performances in the last game.

June 24, 20188 yr I'm going to give the BBC and Danny Murphy another chance. Let's see how long I can take the punishment before I start sobbing and switch over.
