Just 30 seconds before that free kick they had the ball deep in the German half, they went for goal with a tame shot, should of gone to the corner flag, schoolboys don't make those errors.

I know they just won but is Low paying for being too loyal players that have played for him in previous tournaments?

Boatang looks a shadow of his former self. Reus made less than 20 appearances this season, Gomez had only scored 9 goals this season. Not taking Sane seems so bizarre. 

That free kick was ridiculous, I've seen team mates smacked for less. 

I just saw an official FIFA advert of a drone delivering beer to a fans in the stands despite the fact fans aren’t allowed to be seen on tv drinking beer. Then I realised it was bud and they’re just making sure fans drink water and stay hydrated. Thanks FIFA!

Never rule out Germany, they seem to find a way.

but Swedens Wall was so wrong and the keepers positioning was wrong.

I meant the bloke who gave the free kick away, but turning his back on it was bad too. 

I really like Brandt, i seem to recall he came in as a sub a few times in the last World Cup and did really well in the short amount of minutes he was given. 

I feel for Sweden,ultimately though the competition needs the best teams and the greatest players through to the knockout stages to produce a tournament that is great. 

England having a good run helps too. 

What a ridiculous free kick to concede.....just stay on your feet and force him out wide ffs.

Despite looking a poor side I have a sinking feeling this German side will do what German teams usually do and progress to the final stages.

Yep all the way through I was sure they were going to win.  But then I'm usually pessimistic.

They will make the last 4 atlesdt they always seem to grind out results 

Credit to the Germans, went to just two defenders near the end, gambled and produced the goods.

Watching this World Cup makes me realize just how much we failed Hazard. He's been forced to play under defensive managers whilst surrounded by players nowhere near his level.

Put him in Madrid's team & he'd be considered Top 3 in the World. He's easily been the best player in the tournament so far.

Still very early, they have not been tested yet, he's played Panama and Tunisia, but can they do it against the big boys ?

By locker room you mean Messi, he already decides the squad.

I wasn't expecting a ton of changes in all honesty. I think this is Sterling's last chance.
