Huddersfield Vs Chelsea (PL) Tues 12 Dec 2017 KO 20:00 GMT

Huddersfield looked very bad this half. I'm really strugling to imagine how they beat United and almost stole a draw against City, but maybe the luck played its part. Anyway... we scored our first chance and made the game really easy since.

Dominant first half, we had the ball most of the time and we're looking to attack, I like it. Two things we've to improve, we should bring in a striker, Hazard is not a striker, he needs his space, he needs the ball to do his magic. Batshuayi for Pedro in the second half, we need to double our score in the second half.

Good to see Bakayoko scoring, good for his confidence, also Willian is having a good game, important for him as well. Overall we're on the right way, we should not asleep in the second half and continue our good football!

COME ON CHELS!!!

I made this point at half time in the Newcastle game when we didn't get a free kick on the edge of their box, the ref blew for time instead. If Huddersfield had had the ball near our goal just then there is no way the ref would have blown for half time, he'd have allowed that sequence of play to finish.

It's a conspiracy.

Reasonably easy so far. Don't think we've played very well really, but Huddersfield have offered nothing and contributed to their own downfall. This endless passing back and forth, looking for the perfect ball through a crowd of players does my head in, I really miss the days of having players who could just smack one in from 25/30 yards.

Hopefully another early goal in the 2nd half, and we can rest a few players, maybe give Musonda a run out.

1) Hazard was fouled 4-5 times that half, 4 times at least, twice by the same player and on both of those instances it was because Hazard was getting past him so they were deliberate. This is happening game after game and Conte has to say something about it. AVB did the same with Gareth Bale years ago when he kept getting fouled and after that Bale went on to have the best season of his life.

2) Bakayoko big improvement, I don't think he's put a foot wrong all game or misplaced a pass but my stream went for a good 10 minutes after his goal.

3) Willian again a big improvement, he's been everywhere all game, filling in well as free roam, good work rate and getting involved in the play, he's been the biggest menace towards Huddersfield as of yet.

4) Pedro needs to get more involved, doesn't appear to be making himself as available as Willian & Hazard, he's been missing quite a lot this season, besides the miss he had which was a very good run from him he hasn't done much else

5) Both wingbacks getting in dangerous areas, even Alonso is despite him giving the ball away quite a bit, Moses looks up for it.

Much better performance this time around. This was a bit of a danger game, especially after the West Ham loss, but we looked much more positive going forward. Would have been nice if Pedro had scored that goal late in the half, but a 2-0 lead at half time is exactly what we needed. Hopefully we can go on and get one or two more in the second half.

We played very bad side, guys, calm down. This tactics with false 9 is not good enough. We've got 2 chances and fortunatelly scored all of them. It could easily be 0-0.

They are way too fussy about what is an own goal and what isn't. That goal should be given to Bakayoko, it's hard to tell if it's going wide or in the goal. Also, they need to take the spin on the ball into consideration. The spin could have taken it towards goal once the ball makes contact with the ground.

Very bad? Don't think it's right, we did everything right, we pressed them correctly, moved the ball correctly, put some crosses, dribbles through their defenders. I agree that we need a striker, but this half was pretty good.

Our record with the false 9 is actually pretty impressive. I dont recall us losing in it and besides it helps us press the opposition better

They have been bad, no doubt, but they have beaten Man U and should have got something out of City.  We're also coming off our worst performance of the season, so this first half has been a good response to that.  It could also easily be 3 or 4-0 as well.

Chelsea are on course to become the first club in Premiership history to go a whole game without conceding a free-kick.

Don't blow it kids.

Putting my life savings on this bet, make me rich boys!
