I don't get this reluctance to field both when needing a goal either.  In my mind they'd compliment each other pretty well and it would certainly make crosses into the box a lot more dangerous with both those options up front (and Alonso cutting in too)

Point being we should be winning this or at least playing a lot better than we are, we aren't troubling a 3 at the back with 2 youth players, one who defended for a relgated side last season, one who's very mistake prone, one who's untested. Xhaka is an average footballer, Ramsey starts over him any day, their LWB has only had a few starts. 

It's not good enough, we need a different gameplan, the 3-5-2 isn't working.
