Chelsea Vs Arsenal (LC) Wed 10th Jan 2018 20:00 UK

Featured Replies

Someone said this game was broadcast on Sky. Might as well call it Arsenal TV.

Embarrassing how do one-sided and biased these two are. Sounding like someone's about to get run over when Chelsea have a chance... 90% of the commentary was from an Arsenal perspective...

All the decisions in favour of Arsenal are deemed correct, apparently.  Xhaka should've been off. There should be been a penalty...

This VAR... They still can't call an obvious foul even with their replays...

Once Alex Sandro arrives, we'll be fine I reckon.

False hope in my opinion. First, he wont join us. Second, even he did, we experience a squad and tactics issue, and even arrival of a fottballing genius Messi would not resolve our problems.

VAR is terrible would be the worst thing that could happen to the English game, completely kills the momentum in the game.

We didn't look under pressure at all that back line looks great nice and solid just the attack is not quite clicking at the moment and couldn't get through the parked bus, frustrating. UTC.

Conte won the league in his first season, we're one point off second now, qualified for the next round of the Champions League, and still in both cups, and you think he needs apologists.

Odd.

We also lost a FA cup final, sold two of our best players, thought bakayoko and zappa were worthy upgrades, are as good as out of the CL after bottling top of the group (getting destroyed by Roma, and facing the weakest Atletico team in years), and are at risk of losing hazard and Tbo because of underinvestment in the squad.  Nothing to worry about at all.

Poor or average performance from all the players, bad performance by Conte as well. I don't understand the endles passing around no-one having the courage to make efforts for the goal. What on earth was Conte thinking when bringing in Baka and Bats for the last minutes?

I suspect Conte did not make calculated thought-out subs, but rather went for the last lucky pound in the slot machine

Wish people would stop talking about Sandro. He ain't going to solve our current problems.

More worried about right wing back, tbh. Moses is great defensively but is one dimensional in attack. I think we need another 1 -2 midfielders, 1 wing back and 1 attacking player.

Like over half your stuff is either hindsight or forecasting worst case scenarios. You also omitted winning premier league because I guess losing an FA cup final is so bad it actually strikes off that achievement.

You write a depressing story and then wonder why you are depressed.

would rather the players get the rest than be in this competition. i honestly couldn't get up for this game tonight, it's so underwhelming when you know it makes no difference to the standing in the league and is nothing but a bit of pointless silverware. while our rivals rest up, we are slaving away to win a mickey mouse cup. i get others enjoy the silverware like this, but me personally it's useless. our priorities lie in getting top four and doing well in the CL. our squad isn't strong enough to be competing in all comps.

The team isn't bad defensively, the current problem seems to be in offence lately. I think switching back to two wingers might be beneficial for the team, but that may also require a more dynamic playmaker to play beside Kante.

Definitely stale this 3-5-2.

Kante badly needs a quality player next to him. Poor guy gives it his all every game, and he has to carry his midfield partners.

Drinkwater, a decent player and I like that he actually closes people down and tackles, but he isn't really what's needed alongside Kante.

Fabregas in a two. No comment needed.

Bakayoko. At this moment offers nothing, really. £40m for a guy who strolls around a bit on the pitch, breaks down moves, disappears conveniently and puts the team in danger.

A new striker, a pacy left back and a proper, top quality midfielder needed.

You can add winger/creative forward to that too.

moses is poor this season. the frustrating thing about him is he gets the ball and can't pass it out of trouble, he ends up trying to dribble too long with it and loses the ball or hoofs it up the field to nobody. alonso is the same, but the one thing moses beats him on is pace.

Its not strong enough to compete for top 4 and a champions league run let alone anything else.

The Moses from last season would be very much appreciated this season.
