Funny seeing the rumours that Sarri is still in Italy. You would think that he would already be in London waiting as it’s only a matter of time. 

You've got to feel a bit for poor old Zola. He had a nice cushy World Cup number of the go in South Africa, whcih he bombed off to coem to London, and we end up bu**ering around doing nothing. He could be sunning himself and getting paid for it.

There's just no excuse for it to take this long.  Make a decision and get on with it it cannot be this difficult to take positive steps at a club with as many resources as Chelsea.

Five weeks away from the first game of the season. First bunch of players are arriving for pre-season in a matter of days and we still haven't solved this. Surely its some kind of record for a big club to not have the manager situation resolved so close to the season?

No signings yet either obviously and the window closes in just over five weeks as well.

I don't think we are particularly close to strike a deal with Napoli either. If we were Conte would surely have been sacked by now.

Saw something today that said July 1st is when Ancelotti's contract officially kicks in and so Napoli would sanction Sarri's departure after that. 

I thought our pre-season started July 2nd but have seen July 9th mentioned in a few places this past week so not sure now... If it is the 9th, this could rumble on for a while longer yet.

My feeling is that Roman has taken as much bollocks as he can stomach from the little jumped up El Presidente just to save £2.7 million.  So he’ll wait until the 1^st of July when the release clause starts again and pay the full £7.2 million and be free from any obligations Napoli have been trying to impose on Chelsea. 

Seriously now, it’s very strange that no-one has got a clue about what’s going on at Chelsea at the moment.  Usually, the media have at least an inkling of what’s going on but in this case they seem completely clueless.
