Whinging is how I deal with the frustration of zero news from Chelsea. Maybe that rules me out as a "proper fan" but if being a proper fans means singing Kumbaya around the camp fire whilst the cowboys blow your brains out then count me out of the "proper fan" club. 

Also, Courtois hasn't left and has stated he won't leave this season. Why would we replace him?

Pre-season was supposed to start today. We already moved it back once because we can't fix the manager situation.

Maybe we'll just continue to move it back the longer it takes..

Thing is we’re so far down the line now that it’s hard to go back. Is it just a case of who blinks first? 

Surely Napoli can’t afford to be paying 2 manager salaries? They will have to compromise.

So keep conte. He leaves for FREE at the end of the season and so do all his staff. Then sarri has his clause come back as well. 

Add that to that meaning luiz, hazard, willian and tibo would rather leave than carry on with conte and marina can point to a good lot of money saved and coming in. How much would those 4 bring alone? 225mill? 250mill? Who knows.

and we replace them with Clarke-Salter, CHO, Kennedy and get Hilario back in as no1. We’ll win the World Cup next season with that squad...

If the guts of the team like this leaves then i would expect Kante would follow and possibly Rudiger as well, oh and let's no forget that Alonso has been looked at by the Spanish sides. As long as we amend our collective expectations accordingly because a team without those players would be pretty mediocre in this league, i would imagine.

Fully prepared for conte to be in charge next season, with little or no transfer activity.

It's been a bizarre summer so far. 

Conte, Sarri, i don't give a sh*t anymore, what i care about is the total silence from the club. Would it hurt to tell us something? the club has been on hold since we won the F.A cup, the new season starts in just over a month and nobody seems to have any idea what is going on. It's early days, but if they carry on like this then they will somehow have messed things up even more than they did during the last summer transfer window, something i didn't think would be possible.

It's feeling more and more like there is a disconnect between the club and it's fans over the last few years. We shouldn't have to keep guessing what is coming next.

I don't think Kante would go however if you are right there is another 150mill or so for the pot.

Same old shambles we've come to expect in recent years. No chance of making top 4 next season.

The most annoying thing about this is the journalists.

Squawking around the story clambering all over themselves to "break" news first without the rationality to sit back and think "wait, is what I'm reporting total bollocks?"

Nope just need to make sure we stay clear of the bottom 3. Conte will need something to impress his next employer so hopefully he focuses on the Europa league.

If the players and conte pull in opposite ways like jose and the players did it becomes a concern.

Will never happen, a season like 15/16 in itself was less likely than winning the lottery or being in a plane crash, the fact it even happened once was a truly remarkable/bizzare phenomena, it will never happen again.

A solid run in Europa league along with the league cup or fa cup win Will do, no chance of top four if players and manager is at odds which it seems like they are

ive said it before and I will say it again. Conte is and will be our manager this season. 

I'm prepared for the club to be midtable again this season. I don't want it to but that seems to be how it is considering the lack of anything this summer
