So if they depend so much on him, why is Higuain to be blamed for missing one chance when Messi was invisible that whole final game? Seems that no matter what he does he is never to be blamed.
Or if they depend on him so much why is it totally fine that he misses a penalty in the Copa America final?
Don't tell me that Argentina has a bad team now and that Messi plays with below average players in Argentina, from 2006 when he was still young up to 2018 Argentina has had great players, but I guess, Messi could only do well with the Spanish generation that won the World Cup and Euro Cup, maybe he should have taken the Spanish citizenship?

I saw Di Maria at the World Cup in Brazil and Russia, by far the most influential player in big games for Argentina.

#metoo - I will join you & hope Higuain does well for The Royal Blues, but I do a few Argentino fans that are big Higuain Supporters. Saying Higuain around them is like a curse word.

People think you gotta perform in PL to prove your worth. A 35 year old Ibrahimovic came and scored 17 goals when people said he couldn't. Higuain has done it in Spain and Italy, two of the best tactical and technical leagues in Europe. There's no guarantee he'll do it in England, but I'd be confident to say he will. He is certainly not past it yet at the age of 31!

I remember watching the FA Cup Final w/ a manure fan & he foamed at the mouth with the prospect that Slick Wily could be a dirty red manc - unfortunately for him that didn't happen

Isn't he also known as a big game bottler? Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that we're doing something to rectify the striker problem, just trying to remember what I've heard about Higuain. In any case, I do hope he does well for us, we're desperate for a proper goalscorer.

All the fans of other teams I know think he's brilliant and would love their club to sign him, that's Liverpool fans, utd fans, spuds, Everton, arsenal and even a Barcelona fan.

I don't think Higuain will do particularly well with us, but I don't see what other choices we realistically have. If the rumours are correct and it's only a loan deal the risk is relatively low. Don't see a reason why we shouldn't take a punt on him.

Looking unlikely that if he does sign that it'll be in time to be registered for the Arsenal game (though even if he was he'd probably have only made the bench anyway). 

I can't imagine this is a particularly easy deal to negotiate seeing as there are three clubs involved and let's face it Chelsea don't often gets deals wrapped up until the latter part of the transfer windows.
