I’m actually pretty surprised Tuchel put Pulisic on tonight, I thought it said it all when he came on against Southampton and suddenly our attacking threat diminished.

He has to go. His scintillating form under Frank, that’s a long time ago now. He’s had enough time to rediscover that form and he never did. Only a flash here and there, like vs Madrid last year.

Personal horror moment: I rate Lukaku higher than Pulisic  

Can't rely on him for the big moments in games, too often he misses the goal completely.

Squad player at best for me.

Unfortunately the chance to be the hero passed him by. When the manager drops you for a big game and then gives you the chance from the bench you need to take it, like Reals sub within minutes.

Giving some slight defence to Pulisic, it must be hard to come on to a very high tempo game and be expected to get into that same gear along with everyone else!

Werner was well into the game, he should've stayed on!

Sadly, guys like Pulisic, Ziyech, Saul can't be trusted to be thrown into these kind of games. They can't produce that spark that someone like Oli or Pedro did for us with sheer desire to score and win.They gotta be in it from the start and then it's a bet if they'll slowly build up for a decent match or be crap for the entire time they're on the field.

 

All our subs today should be replaced with hungrier/better players. Hopefully we'll be able to do it by the time summer comes.

Garbage tonight he's been getting by on name value for far too long now. After his injury mid 2020 he's been useless.

 

Sell him and Ziyech in the next transfer window, they're both average at best now

Should it be though? In the first leg TT turned to a prolific goalscorer, a 100mill forward who missed the target when heading free form 6 yards.

Today he turned to a 52mill winger who has a snack as a supersub scorer. Why should they fail where the real lad scored? 

TT made sound calls. The players used should be better but they let him down.

It all comes back to Werner shouldn't have been subbed for him, it killed the tempo and some of our attack quality we had!

In hindsight yes, did not work. I understand why TT did it and it did lead to CP getting 2 very good chances with some good movement. Had he put either in would have been cold bold and a master stroke. Sadly did not work out that way.

Very reactionary to sandbag him after this match. I was as disappointed as anyone he didn't score, being American, with the two clear chances he had. Being in those positions he should have scored the first, the second was well defended and would have been difficult for anyone. I was mostly disappointed he didn't put either on target and at least force a save. 

If you think he's taking up minutes of someone more deserving then it's fair to call for him to be sold. As it is I think he's a great player to have in the squad but never a nailed on starter.

There was also the situation where he could've played Havertz in to make him 1v1 with the keeper, probably not warmed up enough as others have said but this was his general level of performance anyway.

I thought it was Mount when i saw this at first, in about the 90th minute. Should've made the pass first time but instead took a touch and instead got a foul from Camvinga.
