How many people were dreading not seeing CHO in the lineup/squad and thinking that is it who are clinging on to the faintest of hope that him starting gives us some hope he is staying. Still pessimistic but hopefully that gives some hope.

That is pretty well their first choice 11 for sure. Lucas Moura us injured. I believe Son misses the second leg due to his involvement in Asia cup

I thought Son was going to Asia cup or something? 

Also glad to see Christensen and odoi start , Hopefully Barkley steps up today because he has been abysmal the past few weeks.. Our Bench actually looks up to scratch..

Team surprises me really. I way prefer Kovacic to Barkley on recent form, and I though luiz would play. 

Such a shame for RLC that he got injured again. I am positive he would have been a starter tonight if not for that. 

Christensen over Luiz is an odd one for me, Luiz struggled against Spurs last time but his passing has been so crucial in recent victories...

Quietly optimistic though, we tend to thrive as underdogs and we aren't heavily fancied. Hopefully a good opportunity for Barkley and Hudson Odoi to shine.

Spurs at full power.....no surprise of course. Hope Barkley does good, Kova would have been better imo. CHO starting was a must.

Not sure why barkely keeps starting and luiz dropped is a shock.

Not really - Lloris is on the bench & let's not forget this is a Huge London Derby - they will not do a lolpool & underestimate the situation

I was really hoping the usual midfield 3 with Kovacic would be there if CHO played.

Neither of those two will make runs in to the 6 yard box like morata. They like passes in to feet at the edge of the penalty area.

Giroud if he makes an appearance - he is on the bench

Wow, very classy.

Not sure about Barkley. Pedro should start with Hazard and Giroud upfront. This false 9 usually doesn't pay off. Also Chrisiensen in defence and no Kova in midfield. I would prefer Luiz and Kova.
