Just heard part of the amendment to our sanctions is that

THE UK GOVERNMENT ARE ALLOWING ROMAN ABRAMOVICH TO PUT IN 30 MILLION POUNDS INTO CHELSEA TO KEEP CLUB IN BUSINESS BEFORE IT IS SOLD..

How generous of them. Won't let us make money to pay the bill, put it on Roman despite them treating him like sh*t so they can blame him if things go wrong for the club.

What a bunch of utter tw@ts.

Yeah why the f*ck would Roman put another 30m into the club? He loves Chelsea of course, but to be told you’re not getting a penny from selling the club. But you can invest another 30m! And you won’t get it back!

His assets in Russia are fine but I catch your drift . The UK government is full of hypocrites.

They certainly are. Should be the government pays our debts until a buyer is in, who then has to repay the government. They created this mess we are in, sticking out their chests like they care about the people of the Ukraine when they only care about increase their bank balances and waistlines.

The UK government disgust me. I mean, I want Roman to still do it because it helps the club but at the same time I'll understand fully why he doesn't want to, and I don't blame him.

The UK government have stripped him from his assets, basically called him an evil man, forced him to sell the club and LOL - you are asking him to pump more millions in to something he will never get back?

Who does this government think they are? YOU should pump money in to us, since you sanctioned Roman and hand-tied the club.

The more I think about this, the more I don't want Roman to give us £30m. Feck the government.

Agreed. I want Roman to say no and would support him doing so. He has done more than enough fornour benefit. The government are taking the pi$$.

You know how evil this government is as well? That £30m will be taxed especially if the money is going towards the staff and players.

So the government is going to have a share of Roman’s money.

They know exactly what they’re doing and using Chelsea’s financial problem as shield.

Anyone around here still think the Government is going out of its way to help the club?

I heard that bullsh*t on here when the sanctions came in "they are still letting us play games they could shut us down" etc blah blah.

Still feel that way? Think they would dare treat Pool or United like this?

This government is getting into abuse of power territory. Freezing Roman's assets is fine but telling Roman to put in 30million for nothing is absurd.

The government should also not use tax money for this either. If they want 30million, then it must come from Boris and the gang's pocket. They caused this situation

Not sure if CFCDaily is a user on here, but if you are, go outside mate, see the world, put your phone down, your NoToRicketts stuff is getting really tiring

It is 'NoToRicketts' not 'NoToRick'.

EXTEND THE BID DEADLINE!

Now we're a step closer to being able to fully sell tickets (not 100% if you read the small print), I think the valuations of the bids should be extended and bidders given a chance to revise their bids.

Not only that, make the details of the bids public where it's possible. For example, bidders should make public their plans for the stadium, investment in the Women's team and the Youth Academy, and fan involvement (such as the 10% golden share idea).

This can only be better in the long term for the club. We should not be forced to rush in. If the bidders are proper Chelsea, then none of the above should be a problem.

Sir Martin Broughton's proposal to purchase #Chelsea is rated as one of the leading contenders to be shortlisted by Raine Group.

It would still be a surprise if The Ricketts Family bid did not make it past the first phase and onto the shortlist to buy #Chelsea but the online #NoToRicketts protests have damaged their campaign.

Todd Boehly's consortium expect to make the final #Chelsea bid shortlist.

Martin Broughton +english, knows football -associated to Liverpool

Ricketts +loaded, know sports -you hear ton of negatives from their ownership of Cubs

Boehly +on paper looks like a real good owner -on paper looks like a real good owner

This whole thing is ridiculous. Should be quite simple surely... Chelsea sell tickets, merchandise etc. and it goes to a bank account not controlled by Roman, these funds go towards paying wages etc. Any debt, or money in said bank just goes to the new owners. Or am I missing something here?

This is what I am thinking.

You are missing the fact that common sense is not common.
