Some will come back and say "Just because it's rotten now, doesn't mean it wasn't rotten back then either" which is just deluded sh*te. The club wasn't rotten under Abramovich, it just needed to remove some bad eggs that were holding the club back from competing consistently.

We knew this in the summer with the players we brought in.

I get people get caught up I'm transfer muppetry but while other clubs were strengthening we were buying kids and low ceiling young players and deluding ourselves into thinking we were improving the squad spending £25+ million a piece of players that wouldn't start for Everton.

If you buy a bunch of poor players you get poor results,  just because those players are under 23 doesn't mean you can wait 5 years  and they'll be Peps Barca.

Absolutely mind boggling. 

With competent forwards we wouldve won our last 3 games. Poch is definitely not helping things, and the injuries have played a massive part too, but Sterling and Jackson are pretty much 1st choice options. 

Todd and Clearlake are never going to get a return on their investment. Never. 
 

He will be sh*tting himself for tomorrow’s ‘Chelsea Project’ stand-up Teams meeting with the Gaffer at Clearlake that’s for sure. 😅😂 

Thank goodness we've had our fill of success as a club over the last couple decades, so I don't feel so depressed about the near future as much.

There are, but the amount of abuse and nonsense I've seen thrown about in the comment sections whenever our players or quotes are posted on social media. I look at the accounts and many of them are foreign, either from Africa or Asia.

Had a good discussion in the pub with some mates last week about it. Out of 10 us 8 of us would love to have the Glazers instead of Todd.

Even the two that didn't said it's because he's got good intentions not because he's actually done anything good.  Said it's better to have a parasite than a fool who runs around making things worse.

If Boehly had bought United in the early 2000s he'd have Sacked Sir Alex for someone like Mark Hughes and Sold Ronaldo and Rooney to domestic rivals so be could buy Carlton Cole,  Dean Ashton and 15 Brazilian kids no one would remember now.

Funny because I see just as many of them from the UK. Also know American fans that have better takes than some of the people on here. Point being don’t think region should be used lump fans into groups otherwise we get into muddy territory.

How is this ever going to work? Nkunku coming back is not going to be enough to save us.

Silva is 39. Disasi looks decent but not any better than your average PL cb. British record signing Caicedo who did well for one season in an overachieving Brighton side in which even Cucurella looked good. I am not sure what he is supposed to be good at. Running around? Does that make him worth 115 million?

Signing Fofana and Koulibaly for big $$$$. Absolutely ridiculous.

We sent 1 billion and have not ONE truly elite player in the squad. Enzo is probably the best but he is played out of position, ruining his confidence. He will ask for a transfer in January if we keep on going like that.

Politics on all sides are full of the worst people. Taking Chelsea from Abramovich was just a way to say "f**k you" to Putin. Nobody gives a f**k about Ukraine really, they just hate Putin. Ukraine, Russia, the US, the UK, Canada, China, they are all under control of the worst and most corrupt monsters that bring pain and misery to the world. They've already invested a truckload into the team, I highly doubt protests will get them out. And even if fans manage to do that, Clearlake isn't going to write off the debt like Roman did so whoever comes is going to have to pay it off or buy a club in massive debt. Basically, we are currently in a catch 22 situation and all fans can do is hope things turn around.
