If it's true that Chelsea gets Christoph Freund we can be more than Happy. This guy scouted Haaland, Mane, Szoboszlai, Sesko and many young Austrian talents no one knows before. When Haaland played the first Game in Austria everybody laughed but Boy after 1 Game everyone knew that this guy is going places.. Christoph Freund is so strong connected in Africa, Europe and USA through the Red Bull Football Company and is a Master of finding Talents and gets them to Salzburg - even if Clubs like PSG are in the Race Salzburg gets the Deal.

Feels weird to see an owner provide an explanation to his decisions. It's very different to what we became accustomed to under Abramovich.

Jury is out whether this is a successful ownership, but there's no denying Boehly and co have big visions for the club. It's going to be fascinating to see how this plays out.

More out of TB’s intents for our beloved club  in one interview than we ever heard from RA in nearly 2 decades! Some of it is silly but Bravo Bully!

Best buy the shares....this guy clearly has big visions for the club and how the game globally is structured and sold. He wants and craves for success it appears. The removal of relegation won't fly, but who knows in years to come.

You can see how an ownership like this would have loved the Super League. 

It's coming guys........ unfortunately only a matter of time. All his wining and dining with other Premier League Clun execs will be also to push some of his ideas and thoughts. 

I'm not saying the EPL clubs won't have pulled out last time if we didn't but it took a man that wasn't driven by making money out of club to break rank first and then others followed to not look bad to their fans.

He mentioned in the same interview that he's against the Super League because there is already a Champions League so I don't think the Super League is happening.

Unlike rm, juve and barca not sure PL team need SL that is why pl teams weren't so adamant on SL. 

In the end of the day money talk. I don't know the real number but If having an all star game can generate 100m, we will have all star game. The difficult part for pl is that there is something called international football. CL is not a problem because you get tons of money from CL. But teams does not get money from international game

Hmm, who say the all star game has to be in England. It can be in us, asia, etc2. 

You can easily sell the concept. Schedule wise it is complicated though.

Love Austria, was in Graz last week with work and its a beautiful city.

So according to that interview we are going to see:

-Openly communicating club (internally as well as externally)

-A host of satellite-clubs like RB clubs are. "Chelsea of Porto" 🤣

-An All-Star match between North and South of England

-Biggest brand of football in Chelsea

-Competitive side each season

At least these. I am positive over most of them. The All-star game is not for me as players won't play full contact. That game/event is for local fans and the clubs to generate revenue. If it is distributed over all the ladders of English football I am all for it.

It's a very uncontroversial idea that's been floated loads before. Not sure why klopp feels the need to have a dig. 

I would picture doing this the same weekend as the fa cup final and just not featuring the fa cup final teams. Would be a bit of fun, could be played abroad, and would continue to boost the perception of the PL as being THE league to be in.

Because the thin facade Klopp is an absolute c**t and a bully, yet gets treat with kid gloves as he's manager of Liverpool. If he acted the same way while being our manager he would have been hated and torn apart by the media.

I think for something like this branding will probably be the most important part to win fans over. I imagine people will be more receptive to the idea if it was called something like the PL fantasy game (since the concept is the same as PL fantasy league) versus the PL all star game (where people would think it's an American thing)
