This is a full interview, boy he is switched on, its going to be a really interesting journey with Todd steering the the mighty ship Chelsea forward.

Really interesting watch this. Seems like the goal is keep us competitive on the pitch whilst enlarging the brand globally as much as we can. Seems to put alot of stock in the academy and continuing to use players from there (Mo Salah and KDB didn't come out of our academy though).

Appreciate the openness on Tuchel. I loved him and wouldn't have sacked him, but sentiment aside he's probably not the man for a long term project.

If Todd continues to be open every now and then, like this interview then that will help go along way to re-assuring the fans that the club is heading in the right direction.

Hopefully the future is bright!

Klopp is stunned by the North v South idea because he didn’t think of it.

It was only an idea by Todd, but if Klopp had said it the media would be lapping it up, saying it’s a fantastic idea and suggesting he should be the first person to be knighted by King Charles.

Because the thin facade Klopp is an absolute c**t and a bully, yet gets treat with kid gloves as he's manager of Liverpool. If he acted the same way while being our manager he would have been hated and torn apart by the media.

Yep, how the media treat Klopp & Liverpool is truly astonishing.

They literally made up a term last night called “a moment of silence” so as not to upset Liverpool.

Other parts of the media said it was “impeccably observed by most”.

All because their fans couldn’t manage a minute of silence without booing and chanting.

Did some of them boo?

Jeering and chanting.

It got cut at 30 seconds rather than lasting a full minute.

Of course not shown on Sky Sports News hence the brand new term “period of silence”.

If that happened at Chelsea we would be truly vilified by the media.

Omg Dkw I could have written those exact words.

He is such a nasty piece of work and I don't understand why he is never pulled up for some of the things he says and does.

I've thought for years it would be a better idea than the community shield thing which is just a waste of time.

A mini tournament over the weekend would make more sense to play for the shield.

All cup winners, league winners in the pyramid. It's community shield after all. Lots of fans from at least 4 different clubs and a chance of a financial injection to a club from non league that has gotten into league 2.

Yes we may see the big clubs winning it 9 out of 10 times but it sure will be a chance to provide real entertainment and set the scene for season across the pyramid.

It could well work and I'm more open to his ideas of North/South game now I know he said Super League shouldn't happen (if he really did) as there is Champions League.

How about just leave the sport alone, keep our traditions that have got us where we are.

We've already destroyed part of the sport with VAR, no more instant euphoria when a goal hits the back of the net.

North v South Allstars ? Give me a break !

Never thought of him like that. I have always thought he is bright personality. I can de-attach him from the club he is working at.

In that video he took the side of the mob so to say. Laughing with everyone for the funny idea brought up by the yank....in a few years he is the "manager" of the North All Stars hailing for the brilliant event...

All new ideas get treated like this until they are a reality.

It’ll happen, he already put a potential figure on it, so the PL are going to love it, he’s a brush to clean it up, they won’t of come accross such a successful business man with that much acumen, and foresight.

If the congestion of the games is a problem I would drop League Cup from Premier League clubs. It would be a cup for Championship teams and lower leagues.

Not solely from a show game like All Star game but from this massive fixture congestion.

It’s just my opinion but I would have preferred it if he didn’t talk so much.

I love when someone who owns us tells us the plans so we don't have to always wonder why we are doing things we are doing.

I would love if the refs have a presser after the game and they go through all the controversial situations that went on. If something happened they would honestly tell why they decided what they decided. If it would mean they are paid close to what players are paid I am all for it. The league has the money for it.

Same goes to managers. I loved when Tuchel basically said what he thought. Loved watching his pressers. I don't see that same openness with GP but I guess that remains to be seen.

I have absolutely zero interest in a North v South Allstars game. If he was anybody but the Chelsea owner, the fans reaction would be exactly the same as Klopp's.

No serious fan can say they want to see Chelsea players line up alongside Tottenham and Arsenal players, same goes with Liverpool, United and City fans seeing their players line up alongside each other.

The players wouldn't be interested, the fans wouldn't be interested. Todd Boehly has a lot to learn about Football in England. Being ambitious is one thing, but he comes across a bit delusional in that interview.

His presser gave more questions than answers,  but it's about time we move on , so it's not dwell on his every single words. Of course he wants to boost the popularity of Chelsea and football in the US, will be disputed and mocked by others. If Liverpool's owner said such things, I'd hope our manager have a go at it too.

People probably don’t like an all star game because it’s American. However, Toddy is thinking of how to raise money for lower leagues. Outside of the fixture schedule problems, I can’t see how anyone can disagree with the principle of helping lower leagues and grass roots football.

We could owners that don’t care!

For me the aim is good and I love some people have the chops to tell ideas even if they might sound negative to some. An all-stars game though is not for me but in America they are very very popular. Problem for me is they are not played 100% intensity to avoid injuries so it is not interesting to me.

Players to play with each other is not a problem of any kind. Most of them mix-and-match in national teams anyway.

Players playing together in international football is completely different, there is national pride involved. Why would players ever care about a North vs South game in England? I highly doubt Kevin De Bruyne, born in Ghent, Belgium is going to want to team up with club rivals to get one over the South of England.
