Chelsea TV fans will likely remember Gab Marcotti. He lays in to Todd for his interview and the basic mistakes he made through lack of knowledge about what he was talking about:

Honestly the N vs S game is not important.

The biggest concern for me is Ronaldo rumor. If Boehly really told Tuchel that we should sign Ronaldo then he need to stay away from football matter. Signing cr7 means you no longer care about being a football club. Your goal is to be a commercial club.

I am concerned about who are running our club now. Very concerned.

If you guys watch the interview, Boehly was kind of just answering questions pretty casually. I don't think he's pushing all these things hard and these journalists probably know that.

I don't mind his relegation  playoffs idea or the all star game. Is more his claim Salah and KDB came through our academy, calling our youth players products not players, and referring to Barcas youth settup as Le Messiah...I mean come on. He is clearly not a stupid person. He is a self made billionaire, you don't become one of those by being stupid, but he made himself look silly with these comments or just plain lazy/not interested to get his facts right.

Let's be brutally honest here if the Glazers had suggested this north vs south game it would be condemned on here for being a ridiculous idea well basically cause it is. Only Boehly is our chairman / owner people are actually giving it some thought. Comments like it's him thinking outside the box are just lazy cliches it's unworkable and god knows where you could fit it in especially this season an early start, the gap now because of the queen's death and then the World Cup.

Relegation play offs are terrible as well I've mentioned 1988 here already no football fan should go through that it was bloody torture and heartbreaking. Frankly Boehly deserves all the ridicule he gets if for example can't stand the bloke Alan Sugar bought a baseball team and in of his first major interviews started suggesting changes to the game he'd get the same treatment from the media and the fans Boehly is getting now.

Bloody hell,Todd has really stirred up the hornets nest,he should have definitely been like Roman and kept things to himself, I'm sick of our club always being in the media for all the wrong reasons.

If people are going to get offended by his comments, then that's on them. He didn't say he was pushing these ideas, an interviewer asked him a question and he gave his opinion on a legitimate way the Premier League can make more money.

Our women's team will thankfully be getting upgrades to the facilities available to them. Long overdue given they are one of the best sides in the world:

He was talking a lot during that interview willy nilly without having done a lot of research. In the end he even said he doesn't understand the feel of football yet, like he doesn't enjoy waiting 90 minutes for a goal to be scored. He's only just got started and isn't very connected to the game, I expect his ideas and plans to change when he does 'get it'.

Should keep his mouth shut until he understands the game at least a little bit. Anything else will be perceived as arrogant and rightfully so. No reason for him to even think about changing the league before he gets CFC back on track again. When you let your manager spend big and sack him two weeks later it doesn't look very professional, especially since people might be afraid of telling him truths he doesn't want to hear now.

Though everything being said here has a lot of truth in it - both for and against Boehly, I think the real point is that Boehly has only done one thing in his life and there is only one thing  he wants to do and that is make money. It so happens that he is involved in making it from sport. This is really, really bad news for CFC. Abramovich - like him or not- had made his money, loved football, loved the club, and loved seeing it succeed. He spent a lot of his own money and mad a net loss. Success will only matter to  Boehly if he can make more out of it.

I miss Roman and so will Chelsea fc. He let actions speak louder than words by winning 19 trophies for CFC.  He won it all. Until Boehly's CFC wins one trophy, we should reserve our judgement about him, that is if he is all talk and no action.

Boehly has built massive fortune and now he has a say in our business. That is fair enough, we can all try and do what he has done. I don't think he sounds arrogant, I think he just has ideas and he likes to put them out there.

I don't think All Star game looks like something fitting in England but if it can raise money for the pyramid why not do it. Someone else make a better suggestion before slagging him off.

Anyway the big thing in his talk for me is the global reach. He said we have the most potential to be a biggest franchise in sports because football is a global sport. He will try every avenue to reach that. He has also said the team needs to be competitive to reach the targets. That for me as a fan is important.

Pretty obvious isn't it ? So is the global reach obvious, both generic terms most new owners roll out, along with a promise of a certain level of financial commitment.

The only way TB will make money from CFC is when he sells the club in the future, until then it's his job to fund us to a degree we can keep in touch with the top teams.

Glaziers have a different MO at MU, they already had the massive global fanbase in place before they bought the club, at Chelsea were not in that league of money making, so the only option to make it pay is in the long term when he sells us on.

Roman despite spending absolut fortune at Chelsea in 19 years, would of made a very big profit if he sold the club before Putiins war.

We are close in on signing Christoph Freund as our director of football.

It became quite apparent he was coming here after his comments when interviewed after Wednesday's game.

Contrast how he replied to how Campos replied and his was very much a "come and get me"

Well it's actually not. The only way he's going to make a profit with the outlay he's committed so far (buying the club and transfers) is if the club are succesful.
