We had a pretty ordinary injury runs over the last 12-18 months, congested fixtures, covid, bad luck, International football, the reasons go on.. Would a new head physio fix them? I doubt it, there's no physio in the world will stop Kante from getting injured. Even if Boehly is right, where is he going to find that better person,  from ER, Liverpool, Barca? See how much trouble we had with hiring a DOF, and that's been 3-4 months now.  Look forward to the news that some Physio in Austria turned us down.

You never know honestly. Torres despite being sh*t for us was much more fit compared to when he was injury prone at liverpool. Sometimes things as little as the change in diet or treatment methods can make a big difference. I would personally love to have a Kante that can last a whole season with us again.

Rafa kept rushing him back because their only alternative was David N Gog.

Don't tell me he's sacked the lot BEFORE he's got replacements lined up ?

Please ?

I think you need to change your name to The Rising Blood Pressure..

Pretty prudent you say ? An average loss of £70+ million a year for each year of his tenure ? Hmmm ... 🙂

Chicken feed 😊

He was less levered is what I meant I guess

With the latest Putin shenanigans , I expect the Government to look closely at the takeover to find some link to Russia.

maybe Todd was on the same continent as Putin at some point in the past ?

that should be enough !

Some comments from Joe Cole on the new owners - seems positive:

A boyhood Chelsea supporter, Cole was enthused by his conversations with owners Boehly, Behdad Eghbali and Jose Feliciano and impressed by their vision for the club. "Bold. Progressive. Brave. And they have a clear plan that I think has taken a lot of people by surprise," Cole tells football.londonwhen asked about his early impressions.

"It doesn’t seem like a hedge fund buying a club and it’s all about the bottom line. It doesn’t seem like that kind of model. They want to be involved, are passionate, and they want to be successful. They are learning and constantly asking questions. They bring a lot of wisdom to the table and a lot of business acumen. But they are humble enough to listen, learn, and understand Chelsea."

Apparently Todd brought his friend along to watch the Wolves game with him.... James 'West Ham' 'Make sure you are vaxxed' Corden!

WTF is becoming of this club!

Man thats his first big mistake since buying the club in my opinion. Cant stand that vacuous, talentless cretin.

Gary Neville's talk about ownership in this video shows is just an example of the hypocrisy when it comes to owners. He talks about City and Newcastle's owners and says that he would rather be at the table with them than prevent them from owning teams in the league and then after that he says he is concerned by the increasing number of American owners in the league because they will the disrupt "tradition". The fact that he is more worried about American owners because of 'tradition' versus owners that have taken part in human right violations is shocking. It's no surprise that all these people turned against Roman when the slightest of opportunities arrived.

People like Gary neville and Carragher are hypocrites and biased no doubt about that and very poor commentators. Alan Hansen was my favourite, he said it as he saw it even if it was his beloved Liverpool.

I was looking forward to watch match of the day the other day and Broja's goal wasn't even shown or commented 😕

Neville and Carragher are both good TV-personalities. They view things from their teams' perspectives. I think they are just out of depth sometimes with their views, which is okay.

Neville is only annoyed about American owners because he’s fed up with the Galzers and assumes that they are all like them. There’s no indication that Todd is like that and he’s so far been a brilliant owner.

All our game highlights can be found on YouTube btw, usually within an hour of the match finishing.

Here is the Wolves game, including the Broja goal, which, if you still haven't seen it, was an absolute cracker ! Starts about 2 minutes 30 seconds in.

There is even an extended highlights of the game, posted by the club.

I saw the match live and saw that goal a few times which reminded me of Diego Costa except Broja is faster and taller. However, since it was his first goal for chelsea I was shocked to find out it wasn't even shown on match of the day or commented on because it was a beautiful goal, also never mentioned the academy players that we used or developed for that matter that are playing for other top teams. The hate for Chelsea is real and i dont get it why!?

Funnily enough I actually went through an exercise this morning to try to come up with the number of our academy grads playing at top level across various clubs/countries:

I came up with TWENTY (there may be more ?)

Chelsea : Loftus-Cheek, Mount, Gallagher, T.Chalobah, James, Broja (6)

Brighton: Colwill, Gilmour, Lamptey (3)

Fulham: N.Chalobah (1)

Bournemouth: Solanki (1)

Crystal Palace: Guehi (1)

Manchester City: Ake (1)

Southampton: Livramento (1)

Roma : Abraham (1)

AC Milan : Tomori (1)

Torino : Aina (1)

Bayern Munich: Musiala (1)

Bayer Leverkusen : Hudson-Odoi (1)

Barcelona: Christensen (1)

You'd think this would be a huge story, given how we never hear the end of the "Class of 92", which was basically 6 players LOL.

Perhaps Boehly needs to overall our PR department next 🙂

Todd and teams plans slowly coming together. Quite a bit of anti-American sentiment on posts here these days, but if you look where our club was six months ago and now I’m not sure we could have asked for much more.
Fully onboard the Potter bandwagon, and new technical director incoming. Massive off field restructuring underway and definitely building a team for now but more importantly the future. Maybe we’ll get some new stadium plans soon also - exciting times ahead. What remains for me is can we more consistently challenge top four, and is there a path to challenge for title in coming years - quite the ask with City and Haaland!

Keep up the good work Todd and team!
