February 27, 20197 yr Just when I feel like he’s starting to learn. Why no CHO or RLC - both came off the bench and impressed on Sunday. CHO gave Rose a torrid time last time out. Alonso, I understand because it’s been a hectic week for Emerson.
February 27, 20197 yr Disappointed - Jorgy, Kovacic and Kante in M/F, for me that is poor and unbalanced.

Pray we don’t get hammered.
February 27, 20197 yr Luiz - Alonso in defence again vs Kane, Son, Eriksen smells like trouble to me.
February 27, 20197 yr I think unlike City he has decided to play Sarri-ball further up the pitch, risky for me.
February 27, 20197 yr That team has me worried. It's like Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi can't do anything to get a start in a big game. Pedro was probably our worst player in the final, but he get's a start and Kovacic has never been convincing as an attacking player. Let's just hope the underperforming players can turn it around.

February 27, 20197 yr Very surprised to see RLC not get a start. No surprise about Hudson Odoi sadly Surely one of Kante or Jorginho really could do with a rest tonight?

February 27, 20197 yr I expected at least one beetween CHO and RLC. Just three changes (and goalkeeper) three days later a very long and tough final cup.
February 27, 20197 yr Loftus-Cheek I can understand with easing him back into the team as he has been getting injured lately. Hudson-Odoi and Emerson I'm not sure. I am guessing Alonso is in there for his height due to Tottenham's strengths from set pieces.
February 27, 20197 yr The decision to play Alonso over Emerson is odd, when you consider recent form. I hope the team treats this match with the same application that they showed on Sunday, but I am worried.
February 27, 20197 yr Why anyone thought CHO, or RLC would start is beyond me. Said he'd go back to the usual 11. Sunday was a one off. Next time you see any lineup remotely similar will be Kiev in EL, or Liverpool away
February 27, 20197 yr I'm not sure dropping our best keeper was a good idea. Cabellero is not strong in the air and Spurs will look to attack us from crosses and set pieces.
February 27, 20197 yr Spuds haven't done the double on us in the league since 1971, that's nearly 50 years (48). Looking at the lineups and the anticipated CFC tactics does anyone expect that stat to hold by final whistle ? Personally think well be very lucky if it does.
February 27, 20197 yr I think he wants his golden boy MKII in the team - Higuaín yet des not want to drop Hazard so instead three work-horses in M/F.

I know it seems a bit silly, but we barely have any tall players who can help us defend in the air.
February 27, 20197 yr Dunno what RLC and CHO have to do to get a start. Kovacic just doesn’t offer enough in attack I don’t feel like a midfield three of him, Kante and Jorginho offer enough in the final third... surprised to see Sarri revert back to it tonight. Pedro’s not played well since the turn of the year, no idea how he’s getting the nod ahead of CHO and Willian tonight? Apparently we no longer name a fullback on the bench? Alonso under pressure to turn up tonight! Higuain needs to start justifying the hefty wages and faith Sarri showed bringing him here, his only goals coming against a struggling Huddersfield. Needs to give us more. As for leaving Kepa out? Cutting off our nose to spite our face...
