No, you originally got called out for calling her "that stupid Russian woman".  Your condescending sexist comments came after that.

Oh yea I remember my sexist comment after it she is beautiful and capable...I thought you fight against anything that offends women how come not piping up now? Only when you get a bandwagon?

So to be clear on your stance in the future commenting on view of arse in high heels and her pants having Velcro seams totally ok non offensive to women but beautiful and capable is sexist and condescending...?

Does anyone think Roman is having a nibble? Don't blame him ?

Good thing it wasn’t me who said it ? But I think if the bookies were taking odds on it you’d be backing a favourite

Interesting job title .... "Technical and Performance Advisor" ... no mention of Director of Football or anything like that ...

That's because he is not. A wishy-washy job title if I ever saw one, worse than my own.

Still, nice to have him back where he belongs.

I think he'll be the link between the managing-team and Marina/board.

Still a pretty important job, could be similar to the one Emenalo had at the club i think.

The focus of the job will be to provide advice on all football and performance matters throughout the club as well as embed and facilitate strong links between our men’s and academy teams, ensuring that the various support departments are working together effectively.

Petr will be based at Cobham and will work closely with Chelsea Director Marina Granovskaia (pictured above). His role will also align him with the men’s first team coaching and backroom staff, travelling with the team home and away with an emphasis on strategy and performance.

Sounds to me like his role will essentially be to provide a link between the first team, academy and board.

He's just there to make sure everyone is working towards the same objectives.

So he isn't necessarily going to be involved in scouting/recruitment but helps the manager convey to the board what we need and why.

I reckon during the last couple of managerial stints there's been a massive divide between the coach and board.... Look at how Conte's spell ended so sourly. I think Big Pete is there to try and stop that kind of split happening.

Bizarre.. you would think we would have appointed a Sporting Director to prevent us making mistakes like Bakayoko, Drinkwater and the list goes on but this is Chelsea. The next manager coming in would inherit Jorginho who is an expensive Sarri signing, & might not fit in into his plans.

Yeah thats the way I read it, pretty much a buffer between the coaching staff and the board. He comes across as a very thoughtful fella and I can see him being a great asset to the club, he`s a winner as seen by the way he described the situation at Arsenal on how easy it was.

In his interview on the club's app Cech does not mention advising on player transfers...

Bit hard to advise on transfers at the moment!

I think it's an entry job to what will be director of football.

Regardless of titles, a director of football is essentially what is job is described as.

I hope you're right. He is in his first job out of playing and may grow into a bigger role. He doesn't have his badges yet to my knowledge.

I do wonder about how many of our former players are around the club and what they actually are all doing. Sarri mentioned in his press conference that he still feels Italian structures are better than English ones. Hopefully Pete will have the opportunity to go and see some of those structures (and the German ones) and bring some of that to Chelsea. At the moment we seem a bit of a motley crue.

You might need to go back and re-read your comments.  Not only can't you comprehend what others have written, it seems you don't comprehend your own thoughts and words.

It would help if you could understand the difference between a bit of banter, and comments that are blatantly sexist and insulting.

Have a really nice day.

Good points.  I hope it's not symbolic and that his input is encouraged and valued, and that he does morph into a DoF role.  Exciting to think that smart and passionate Chelsea people like Cech, Lampard, Makalele, Morris, etc could learn and grow together.   Such Chelsea passion steering the football part of the club will be fun to watch.

I think comments like this (that I agree with) are why he has this vague title.

We need to get a better structure. But this seems to be a step in the right direction. I've goaded a few of my united mates that we've done this quicker than them
