Some proper outlandish clickbait stories in some sunday news reports about, Chelsea monitoring Simeones availability, and a line that states Chelsea Could replace Lampard this summer, you gotta laugh at such sh*te journalism

Big big week in his managerial career I think. We’ve been poor at home and now need to find a couple of big performances for his own belief in himself, the team and the plan. Also big for players like Tammy and Cho, can they produce when it really matters!

Poor form aside, what are we actually doing in training? And I do not mean tactically.

Are Frank and the staff overworking the players, cause we had so many training injuries.

There was a time when we had the least amount of injuries couple of seasons in row, but now it seems there’s a new injured player every week and most of them are not during games.

Lampard can't do much when Abraham,Pulisic,CHO,RLC are all injured and when after 10 minutes Kante gets injured as well. No manager would have done better like this.

I think it’s time to admit that Lampard has done his best this season and got as most as he could out of the resources his had. To be in top 4 in February and through to group stage of CL is a good return. I never expect that but it looks like we’re coming up short and drifting away.

The belief looks to be gone in the team and manager now unfortunately.

4 PL games without a win and losing out grip on 4th. Franks done a good job upto now but the momentum has gone completely.

Frank chooses to play Batshuayi over Giroud.

Frank chooses to play Christensen over Tomori and Zouma.

Frank chooses to keep playing Jorginho at the base of the midfield.

Lets not make excuses just because he's a club legend.

Not really sure what else is Lampard meant to do? Bunch of injuries in an already poor squad, no improvements in the transfer window when he asked for some. Pretty obvious to me Lampard had overachieved and we needed the players to kick on, could well get punished for it now.

It certainly could be a brutal couple of weeks for us if results don't go our way. Was certainly a bad night for us but pretty well everything that could go against us today did. From VAR to hitting post, injuries etc. Could we at least expect a bit more luck in the next few games?

Doesn’t matter who he swaps around, the Players aren’t good enough

Last time Giroud started the game was against West Ham and he was the worst player on the pitch for 50-60 minutes.

Christensen has been a starter and has done a good job in his last 10 games, he only went off after he was hurt and that knock probably affected him right before the first goal.

I don't see any other argument needed to be defended here.

Even with a fully fit team that would have not made a difference, this is a tactical problem when Lampard was new he caught a few teams out but since he's been found out he has no plan B no other way of playing. When you have injuries and need to get results you take a different approach, there is nothing wrong with going to a pragmatic approach to get a result.

Yeah agree. Don’t know why Lampard doesn’t sometimes play it safe and shut up shop when needed.

Carragher was highlighting just how open we are in matches. Acres of space and players to far away from each other.

Lamps seems abit gung ho

Giroud can't get past the 60th minute and his level is poor Europa league teams, let's not make out he is some superstar because Batman is so poor, Giroud should not be in any top teams squad, board had a whole month to find a replacement.

The plan B we have is to play the 3-4-3/5-2-3, and I don't see any reason why we would have played that formation this time. Against Spurs we won with that formation though, so maybe we can do it again, although I think Jose is going to be prepared for it this time around.

Huge job on now for frank to get fourth. That was one of the worst Chelsea performances I have seen.

The next two summer windows are going to be massive. The squad currently isn’t good enough. This has been a problem at this club for the last few years especially in recruitment.

We need a new GK, centre back, left back midfielder and striker.

Personally I think Frank should be given time I think if we stick with him it will come good.

You can hear the frustration in his voice, being such a one off Match winning midfielder, he must struggle to comprehend how hard it is to score goals, he is brutally honest, but you know he's secretly fuming that they never strengthened in th last window

What a post-match interview from Frank. Emotions in check, measured and honest whilst obviously seething. His intelligence, honesty and perspective are traits a few on here could badly do with.

Legend before, legend now and always will be.

Spot on, i'd give you 5 stars for that comment, and i don't always agree with your comments

I would probably prefer Giroud over Batshuayi, but I'm not going to pretend that Giroud would have changed the game. Giroud can look as bad as Batshuayi at times, and he is pretty much useless after 60 minutes these days. Also, with the way we play, Giroud would need to do a lot of running, which he isn't capable of doing anymore.

I don't think Lampard's decisions cost us the game. He had to make 2 changes through injury, which is always going to be a problem against the big teams. It's VAR that f**ked us, that alone robbed us of points tonight and that is where most of our frustrations should be directed towards.

After watching that front 3 tonight would leave anyone frustrated.

That's alright B&B. If everyone agreed with everyone it would be a boring old world.

Personally, I still think Frank has been excellent so far. Yes, there are always things you can criticise and say should be changed. That's what fans do and happens even when you are winning games. But for the obstacles he has had to deal with: the squad he inherited, the loss of Hazard, the transfer ban, integrating the kids etc, I really do not think there is another manager who could have done better. And boy is he a class act in the way he conducts himself.

He’s done a great job definitely, no doubting that but saying no one else could have done better is abit far fetched imo. If we gotten say a Conte we may have done even better, with a tighter defence. Pointless debating this anyway he’s done well. I think with better players we’d be an attacking force under Lamps but the defence worries me, I don’t know if he’s going to improve on that. We’ll see with time I guess.
