I've said before ask yourself this.

Your an integral member of your business or workforce, have done some pretty big things for the business, you see guys walking in on 3x your wage who produce next to nothing, your gonna be asking questions are you not?

Hes asked for less than mugs like lukaku gets less than sterling and kouli get , and we think hes being greedy ? I'm not having that, its bullsh1t . It's a narrative being driven and a significant number of  rank and file are falling for it

Don’t think it’s the Lukaku deal that is the issue; it’s that ridiculous contract Boehly gave James who can’t stay fit, and those big money signings by Boehly & Tuchel that have killed any prospect of getting him to agree a new contract.

Still think if James had been paid in line with what other top fullbacks were getting paid in the league; £180k/w, it would have been easier to get Mount to sign a new contract. Boehly also might never admit it but I reckon he wishes he never made any of those summer signings.

Another massive mistake incoming if mount moves to pool.. any cos h that converted Henderson into a player will make mount a massive player..

anyhow who would trust GP with their career

Man it’d really sting if he leaves. Can’t imagine Chelsea without Mount.

I look at Mount and James the same as I did with Frank and Terry. They play for the badge.

Getting rid of Mount would be absolutely stupid

well If Mount had the same quality as frank or lampard

not even close

I didn’t say he’s as good as Frank? We’ll never see another midfielder like Frank in our lifetime.

But I absolutely believe Mount will become a Chelsea legend if he stays. Hopefully under a different coach he’ll rediscover his best form and lead us to more trophies.

What would you prefer if you could choose between Mount & Potter staying on this summer?

I genuinely believe he's gone if Graham stays. For him he will remain a sub until the end of the season and I think there is absolutely no chance he signs on if that's the case.

For me the answer should be obvious. And I don't think its going to be just Mount out of our talented academy lads that leaves if Potter stays. Even if he turns the results around a bit I don't like that all of Chalobah, Gallagher and Mount will likely be gone.

I think he's a sub because contract talks have broke down.

This has RVN at United 2006 vibes.

This writer totally lost any even remote credibility he may have had when he fired those shots at Enzo, a guy who has shown nothing but the greatest enthusiasm for this club since the moment he arrived.

Bang on the money, think everyone needs to read this and put some respect on Mase's name

Yes but let's be honest, Mount gets abuse from all sections of the footballing plastics. Not just Chelsea plastics.

The abuse he gets from "England fans" is insane

We should pay mount want he wants....if he was delivering consistently on the pitch.

He hasn't been delivering - not to any high standard, and therefore he should not attract top wages.

Make it performance related pay.

The same is true btw of other players - but just because contract mistakes were made in the past, doesn't mean they should continue to be made.

He’s done more than enough the past 3 years to earn a pay raise.

Should we be involved in any way in what the club pays a player? Always amuses me that we as fans seem to think we’re involved and decide that one millionaire player is worth so many millions in wages whilst another millionaire player is worth an extra couple of million. As if it really matters to us, they’re all paid too much.

England for a long time has had a problem with fans putting club loyalties above the bigger picture. Sad though if he is feeling driven by our own perceived fans, it is very hard to ignore social media platforms for younger players even though they probably know the places are cesspits.

Which he's done. For both Lampard & Tuchel.
Or are we going to judge Mount solely on how he's performing for someone who's objectively the worst manager in our history so far? That would be ridiculous.

You've got to be joking.

Do they reckon there’s some sort of club nepotism going on? Do they associate more with Mykhaylo Mudryk or Enzo Fernandez because, like them, they have no true affiliation for Chelsea? Do they feel threatened by someone like Mount, who’s been at Chelsea longer than they’ve been a supporter?

Is the above what you have taken offence at? He's not even firing shots at Enzo, simply stating the fact that they don't have any affiliation to Chelsea? He's not a Chelsea fan. He's not from the academy. Sure, over time those things might come but right now the above is completely factual. Disregarding an entire post over something so minor is incredibly childish.

Saying "like them" is defacto grouping him with the people he claims are not proper supporters.

I still don't agree with him doing it but I can somewhat get him naming Mudryk given his obvious desires if he had his way but Enzo (going by almost every report) fought tooth and nail to join us and has shown nothing but the upmost commitment and desire since putting pen to paper despite how sh*t results have been. Given the reason by many for not taking to Sarri was he didn't seem committed to the club then by the same logic Enzo should be a cult hero already.

You're reading way too much into it and using it as a way to avoid speaking about the larger issue within the body of work, which is the fans possibly forcing out one of our best players through personal dislike.

Enzo has been good, i agree. Works his arse off every game, still doesn't change the fact he has no long standing affinity with the club.
