Mason Mount

I’d rather he didn’t go to Arsenal or Liverpool but it his choice if he thinks it’s the way for him personally to go. Think we’ll do alright out of him financially and be able re invest in people who want to be here.

Rather he stayed but not that bothered should he go.

Better for us many clubs want him if he is not going to stay. We need to get the best price we can. The 60mill or so for Mount may save us from being hit with FFP penalties.

To play where at Arsenal though? He isn’t starting ahead of Martinelli, Saka or Odegaard. There is an easier path to a starting role with us than with Arsenal.

I reckon his agent is just being mischievous. The Liverpool interest seems to have cooled down with the media now saying they have agreed terms with Mac Allister who is going to be cheaper and on lower wages.

It's not. He feels deeply disrespected by Boehly and the club. The one year deal that was on the table offended him even further as he saw it as an attempt to just get more for him so now the chances of a renewal are really slim.

Don't blame Mase for leaving. As Enzo has now realized trusting your career to these owners is not smart.

They deserve managers like Frank and players like Sterling.

He'd replace either Naby Keita or Henderson at Liverpool.  In fact I think I'd have a shout at replacing Keita

Me neither, but still sad that it's come to this.

Are there anyone left who defends Boehly and the owners anymore btw? There were some for a while, mostly the guys who wanted Tuchel gone and rated Potter (nice one!) but haven't seen a lot lately.

Still some I think. Believing their spending shows their commitment and that they are "winners" so, given time, we will be winners again.

It's when those that these clowns have blown big dough on that then want out that the true impact of how sh*t this mob are. A bunch of players, generational young prospects who want out and are trapped on long contracts and huge dough. Absolute muppets, killing our club at this rate.

Unbelievable if so.

"Their spending" is a massive JP Morgan financed loan against the club btw. The club will be burdened with that (and more) in the future but they haven't spent a dime of their own money on all these players and coaches and compensations and what not.

Yup Enzo is angry at the situation, would not surprise me at all if he asks to leave.

But Sterling is happy here. I bet you are Raheem, you can relax, play sh*t and pocket 330k a week which you would not get anywhere else.

Unlike Enzo, who the top clubs in the world would want and pay him more

It's true. Growing less so but I still hear the comments on fan videos.

Do you have a direct quote/piece from a reliable source to confirm that?

I’d really like to know the full extent. Hopefully we know soon.

There is a lot around the club I would love to know the real truth behind. Mounts situation, did qe really upset Rices family, is Enzo regretting joining us, the stadium and, the biggest one for me, are we in real deep sh*t with both players and the FFP if we miss out on CL next season.

Is there any truth in these rumours or just journo click bait, or a mixture of the two?

I think about Mount wearing aresenal United or Liverpool red and I fume. If this club lets this lad go, and go to a top 6 rival on top of it, Chelsea will tie the day, rue the f**king day until he retires. Really it’s not just red but anything other than a Chelsea kit and it makes me sick to my stomach.

Fair question,  and one that could be put to any Jurno. Only Enzo truly knows.

He isn't a journo though.

don't get me wrong - seems a good dude, and I sometimes watch his videos -  but he mostly relies on the athletic and just reads articles or regurgitates social media of others

I certainly think so.

I think the owners will get one more chance to get a foothold but if the next project (Pochettino's) fails as well we may well be done for. No one is going to convince me for example Reece and Enzo are going to stay here unless we actually compete with City and the others so if we fail to do that then I expect them and others to hand in transfer-requests and we'd probably have to let them go as we'd desperately need the money if we miss out on the Champions League once again next season.

I give Pochettino a lot of credit for taking on this task. It's a absolutely monumentous one. Seemingly not getting off to a great start either as we know he rates Mount and Rice but it looks like he won't get to work with either.

Not like the hierarchy is properly in place either. Boehly is still highly involved and ultimately decides who we sign for example which is just a major red flag for a variety of reasons.

Probably xhaka position

Enzo maybe, can’t see James getting too many suitors. Football has evolved in the last season, and Pep’s recent comment about using proper defenders (CBs) to defend against wingers reinforces that. I don’t think he is in the market for FBs to replace Mendy & Cancelo, Arteta is interested in Guehi and would probably move on Tomiyasu & Tierney, Klopp wants to move Trent permanently into midfield & his looking at Timber & Inacio, 2 CBs to play in defence, and even Brighton are playing Caicedo as an inverted RB. I would be surprised if there is a queue for a £80m+, £250k/w and injury prone fullback.

He a snake if he joins Arsenal then?

Nope, don't blame him at all tbh. Been underappreciated by the board trying to short shift him with under valued contracts for years after being our best player for two seasons and been given absolute dogs abuse by 'fans' 2000 miles away for absolutely no reason at all. He was unfairly forced out by certain cults that associate themselves with Chelsea when we should have been building him up for future years. If teams like Arsenal or Liverpool are willing to pay his wage demands it makes the whole debacle even more laughable, while we spend £60m+ and the wages he was probably asking for to try to replace him.

Although i think he's dog sh*t (as has been proven) i don't blame players like Jorginho going to Arsenal either.

If it wasn't for Nkunku coming in i'd be devastated.

Reece has played a full POTY season at CM. If we want to play our RB as an inverted full back in transitions James is tailormade for the role.
