We have to take more care of the ball, making our own problems. Decision making in the final third needs to improve as does the runs off the ball. I'd like to see more movement in the box from Tammy , diagonal runs. Overall though we are level and in with every chance in the second half.

Happy with that this is a very good side. Rode our luck a little but created a few chances ourselves.

Really good game so far.

Agree, I'm actually impressed, it's just the lack of movement up field that's concerning me, Tammy is often isolated, I don't think Willian is offering anything offensively he's playing very deep.

Maybe bring Reece on or Pulisic?

Willian needs to come off.

People are not playing through him. Everything goes through CHO.

He has lost the ball at least 3 times right in front of our box and done nothing going forward

That half was very up and down. Build up play from us was nice, but as soon as we got into dangerous areas, we made mistakes. One v one defensively we have been very good, but once we get possession back in our own half, we struggle to deal with their pressing and end up giving the ball back to them.

I'd like to see Pulisic instead of Willian.

Willian isn't in the game, we've got chances but we missed them. I'd say decent first half, we're looking good in closing down Tadic and Van De Beek.

Abraham isn't in a good game as well, but he also didn't have many options to score yet.

We can win this game, we aren't different, we are the same level team. COME ON CHELS!!!

They'll slow down in the 2nd half, we've seen this in the last few games with teams pressing us in our own half, it usually works in our benefit, we're actually really good at playing it out from the back.

Tomori made a mistake to start the game but otherwise i think he's been good. Think Pulisic in for Mount is the move to make here.

Think we are doing pretty well all in all. We are facing a good team and are looking the better side.

We're better than them. They're good, some of their build-up play is class, but we're much more threatening, but we've wasted so many good attacking situations, it's criminal and it could cost us.

Their goal should have stood. Nobody's telling me that's offside. VAR is a joke. There's no way of knowing the precise moment the ball leaves the foot, so in that situation there has to be daylight. The rule's an ass, and we got away with one. Clear mistake from Kepa in the build-up, coming too far off his line when the defender is in control, forcing him to kick it out of play. Kepa looks nervous.

Mount the stand-out for me. Kovacic okay. Great saving block from Azpi.

A win would be massive. Come on Chelsea.

People questioning the VAR offside call, you have to go with the digital slide rule, its more or less the same as goal line technology, no one questions the technology when an athlete is first over the line in the olympics.

The difference is though that the exact moment that the ball is released isn't being taken fully into account at present so there should be a margin given at the attacking end.Nice that it went in our favour for a change but maybe there should be an adjustment in the offside rule to take into account the new technology.

CHO needs to sharpen up. Mount and Kov decent. Might be one for Pulisic

Pulisic I definitely can see towards the end of the game, but not now. Ajax are pressing really well and being really physical, nightmare scenario for Pulisic.

Hudson Odoi has acres of space and he failed to create something, sorry but he has to do better than that. Especially after everything that’s happened the past year.

Kovacic is bloody quality, he loves playing his way out of tight situations!

I’d like to see Willian get more involved, he’s one of the experienced players ffs.

Willian has been poor but Ajax are pressing the sh*t out of him, hes a player that operates best with a bit of space around him, he's been very good this season (and i have never been his biggest fan) but i feel like we should give him 10-15 minutes in the second half and then maybe look at Pulisic for his pace in behind

I wouldn't take Mount off. Off the ball, he has been pretty decent with his pressing and tracking back, he's also been involved in a few of our attacks. I wouldn't sub anybody off yet, but if things don't improve on the right, then I would like to see Pulisic come on for Willian.

CHO has got into decent areas but his decision making and shooting has been poor.

not a lot of play from our right hand side so it’s harsh to say willian isn’t in the game.

i would maybe bring on pulisic for mount later on like against Newcastle

You must be on a dodgy stream, on 60 inch it showed the Ajax player had his right foot in front of the line, not even close.

We could regret keeping CHO on if he doesn't improve, I'd give him a few minutes of the second half then sub him but then again you never know when he'll come up with something special.

And whose to say without VAR the linesman wouldn't have called it offsides on his own?  VAR will allow goals that would have been taken away too, we have know idea if that would have been offsides or not without it.

He's offering too much of a threat for us, taking him off could kill our attack completely. I would rather we kept him on and hope his end product improves.

Anyway can draw a line. The key point is at what point did the ball leave the foot.
