November 23, 20196 yr Time for a new keeper, embarrassing, lucky var came in, team played okay though, Edited November 23, 20196 yr by chi blue
November 23, 20196 yr VAR finding in our favour (when it no longer mattered) but getting it wrong again.
November 23, 20196 yr I can’t bring it on myself to be too disappointed. We are heading in the right direction and that is what matters right now. We just lost our way once they started sitting back in midfield and we couldn’t find a way through. We so need cover for Abraham though - Bats was bloody awful.

Surprisingly you're the voice of reason lately.
November 23, 20196 yr Well, we lost, and it's always frustrating to lose, but at least we competed with them and didn't look out of our depth. We just lost to the better and more experienced team really. We still have a hell of a lot of work to do on the defense though. If we aren't poor at pieces then we are giving the ball away in our own half. It needs to stop, because the longer it goes on, the more teams will target those weak points.

November 23, 20196 yr Still be beat a top 6 side. we will get better I think in time and against better opponents we need to seem Emerson dropped
November 23, 20196 yr Zouma having a good game but wtf would you keep passing it to Tomori who's clearly having a crap game. If we're going to keep playing like this at the back, please get Rudiger back as fit as possible or go and splash money on a CB who can pull off long balls.
November 23, 20196 yr IMO both Zouma and Tomori aren't good enough to be starting for us atm. Tomori has potential but has too many mistakes in his game atm and Zouma has already cost us several points this season. We definitely need to invest in our defence with at least two signings when the transfer ban gets lifted.
November 23, 20196 yr This is a really good City side still, we played well given the circumstances. I'm not too upset, back to the drawing board, we've got to beat Valencia now, COME ON CHELSEA!

Harsh but you might be right, we should stick by Tomori though, so much potential there, sadly Rudiger is made out of glass, otherwise he's our starting CB. But unfortunately he's like our own Ledley King. Zouma wasn't too bad tbh, he has improved massively, but I'm still not completely sold on him but I'll give credit where it's due.

November 23, 20196 yr Jorginho going off showed how vital he is for our team to click. Second half was a load of crap, we had no ideas going forward. Batshuayi need to leave, he’s crap. He offers absolutely nothing apart from finishing chances, we need more than that.
November 23, 20196 yr I'm ok with losing as this is still a young team and is learning. But I cannot stand f*cking about with the ball when we're on the back foot. You have 45minutes to get a result and we spend a good 15-20mins passing from Zouma to Tomori to Zouma to Tomori to Zouma to Tomori to Kepa then boots it long whilst our attacking momentum keeps dropping
November 23, 20196 yr At least we competed this year, a marked improvement on last. We're a young side that has a mistake in it present We will get better.

He’s always there to get the ball, or telling the defenders where to pass. The centre halves had no clue what to do after he went off.
November 23, 20196 yr Lampard's biggest error for me was taking off Tammy, this is not a game for Batsuayi and he showed that, he was absolutely useless. He can't play with his back to goal and he's awful at dropping back. Tammy was critically needed in that last 15 minutes. Other than that I'm happy with the manager, we had a good gameplan, but City are levels above us, we have to realise this. We are in transition, we have a team full of kids with a lack of experience, maybe this will be a valuable lesson to take for this season.
November 23, 20196 yr In hindsight, Frank should have kept Tammy and drop Willian for Mount. Willian wasted key chances today
November 23, 20196 yr On the plus side City are realistically the only side that can stop Liverpool winning the title. Could not think of anything worse.
November 23, 20196 yr What can i say about tonight? We need to spend money when the ban is lifted, we are seriously lacking quality at the back. Had wonderful 25 min and then we made our usual stupid errors and got punished. And this will happen every time we meet quality sides. A few players had quiet or relatively poor games, starting with Emerson who deserved to be substituted. Pulisic didn't offer much, and Tomori didn't have a great game either. Overall, we played OK, but I just feel City were for the taking tonight and our young team could not take advantage, This seasons we will see a lot of games like this, it is part of the learning curve. We have quality in the team and Super Frank is doing a great job.

Yeah we really weren’t terrible. There were those errors, but also - wrong side to make them against. Second half they just didn’t let us in and they have the quality to do that. Lots of work to be done as you say, but let’s face it, we knew that before. Just got found out a bit against a quality side. Maybe we all - us, the players - got a bit complacent? 6 minutes ago, Slojo said: This is a really good City side still, we played well given the circumstances.
