Hang on, he's a defender and his tackling is weak? Why on earth is he so highly rated then.

I mean, the same website has Andy Robertson's weakness as crossing and we all know how many assists he gets every season from doing that. I'd take it with a large pinch of salt.

Zouma's tackling is also classes as a weakness on Whoscored, whereas that's probably one of his best traits imo. Zouma's strength is his passing too, make that make sense.

May prove to be better than Emerson but there's a reason none of the big teams have snapped him up, he's average. But he may be the best we can do if City snap up Chilwell.

Chilwell is massively overrated. Plenty of Leicester fans don't think he should even be in their starting eleven. Best thing that could happen for us is for City to buy him and save us wasting more money at left back.

To be honest, Considering the prices of what is available at LB, 40M doesnt seem unreasonable if he is WC.

I imagine had we been willing to pay that for him, if we indeed want to sign him, we would have done so in January.

Telles is better than Chilwell in my books, and is looking to be 20m cheaper as there is no English tax. I think it will be a great signing. I'm hoping we can actually do what we did with Ziyech and sign them now for him to join in the summer.

Then we can focus all our efforts in the summer to buying a world class centre back like Skriniar or Koulibaly. World class winger like Sancho and world class forward like Werner or Martinez.

Not to mention all the excess players we can sell to recoup a whole bunch of money as well. Loan rules are coming into play so we have no choice but to make sales in the summer.

He is literally just a Brazilian Marcos Alonso, which is fine as I like Alonso but I would have thought we would be looking for a left back that's a bit more defensively solid.

No way should we pay £40m for him, Porto are just trying to save face after their recent transfer mess ups. A player like Telles is worth £30m max, with his current contract situation an offer of £20m would be more reasonable.

Difference being Telles can actually run, Alonso with the ability to sprint would actually be fantastic for us funnily enough.

On current form I agree but earlier this season statistically he was the best LB in the league and a key component of Leicester's early season form. Chilwell at LB, Gilmour, Kova and Lewis Cook pulling the strings in midfield I think we'd have a genuine shot at the title, imho.

Lewis Cook ?

The guy with zero goals or assists as a midfielder this season and a healthy 6.32 average on Whoscored ?

LOL.

Very good !

He’s been on about Cook for a couple years now. Best to ignore the troll.

A Brazilian with Italian ancestry and passport? I'm guessing he points a lot.

And lots of people won't understand the unique role he plays which makes him immune from criticism.

You don't think he played well against us the other week then? Never said he's world class, just good enough to be a decent squad option (we've apparently scouted him).
