I am a little worried on how he will disrupt team moral. He's likely pissed off.

Smartest move would be paying him releasing him on a free now & paying him off till the end of the season. He can go & sign for PSG or any team for a large sign on fee.

We'd likely miss out on a good chunk of transfer fee.

As the saying goes, one bad apple spoils the bunch, he always looks unhappy anyway, the guy has a natural ‘sulk’ face, that arrogant look about him; so now he’s pissed off you can only imagine the impact he could have. Ziyech is not the happy humble Kante type, Potter has a lot on his plate now.

Who wouldn't be pissed off about that level of incompetence?

In the photos from the training ground he usually looks cheerful enough.

Yeah, I really believe that our owners, who have done a massive amount of player contracts and moved a lot of money in one single month, are this incompetent when it comes to send paperwork around.... Unbelievable the sh*t some come up with to put down Chelsea.

Theres nothing wrong with treating your players who have won trophies for the club with respect! Jeez Chelsea have signed a zillion players so what???????

No one is paying anything for him as things stand, they all want a loan. Best offer on the table was loan + option to buy at €20m last summer. Next summer at 30, & with him probably ice out till the end of season, we will be lucky to get €15m

When you terminate most of the prior regimes staff and hire replacements wholesale then stupid mistakes like this balls up are more likely to happen?

Might have a silver lining if Mudrick gets a lengthy ban for his freestyle rappin'

"One source in Paris had told Sky Sports: 'Last night was an absolute shambles. Chelsea will not darken PSG's doorstep ever again. This is not how you do business or treat a player.'

That is a concern. We don't need to be know for treating players poorly or for poor business practice.

Sometimes I think that's just his natural face, because he's always like that. Always looks half arsed, even when he's actually putting in a shift every now and then.

Maybe I'm being hopeful saying that.

Apparently Ziyech contacted Todd personally and was assured everything would be fine and he is "incandescent with rage" at the club and our owners for treating him this way.

Would not be surprised if we don't see him involved and left out of our CL and PL squads.

I thought you could not possibly see a player look more disinterested than Ziyech has playing for us, but after this, if he is ever asked to take to the field for us again, I think he'll blow his own disinterested record out of the water!

Kai havertz.....have you seen him? He looks like he's part of a tour group checking out Stamford bridges pitch at times!

But let's blame Ziyech again, even though he's often played out of position & told track back more.

I don't know what happened with this guy... seemed to start a couple of games when he arrived (looked good to me) and then fell out of favor... how he could have been benched for so long I have no idea... anyway glad things are looking up for him - shame for him the PSG loan didn't go through.

If they wanted Ziyech why leave it this wait in the window?

True, but the counter argument could be why should buying clubs deal with us earlier to compensate for our incompetent administrative staff.

Of course the biggest downer for me is its just a shame it wasn't Barcelona being messed around by us rather than PSG

So we're such an incompetent Club that we managed to get Enzo over the line by flying out to Lisbon and negotiating to the last minute and got all the paperwork on time. We also got Jorginho's deal with the Arses in the last day, no problem. If PSG were so interested, why not send their officials to London? It's what, an hour flight? 2h30 minutes by Eurostar? Did they want us to be focusing on their last minute loan deal when we had probably many of our people trying to get Enzo signed before 11 pm?

We've just had one of the best transfer windows in the last few years, but let's highlight how incompetent is Chelsea as a club because PSG and the media says it and therefore it must be true... Beggars believe.

By the way, if you watch that SKYSports video posted up, they sent the mark-up agreement (a corrected version of the agreement) 1h40m before deadline. Do you think that is serious? You give less than 2 hours to a company to check corrections on an agreement when you know that company is extremely busy doing their own deal that is taken people away on business? That is so poor from PSG. Their arab owners must think that we should all bend to their wishes and be responding to their demands promptly within minutes.

And, it was a f**king loan!! They are full of sh*t.

By the way, for every marquee signing we've done, the media has stirred the pot. When we get Enzo, they get the Ziyech affair to play it down. When we got Mudryck, they get the racist card on the table...

This was payback for Neymar. Ziyech was just caught in the middle.

As some pointed out this was a prospective loan and not a sale, and no doubt we would have been left having to fork out some of his wages. The paperwork issue sounds embarassing and no doubt some heads will roll over the incompetence. But Ziyech is still a Chelsea player and will be expected to continue in a professional manner as long as he remains our player. I am sure we will try to move him on in the summer.

So what is it, payback or incompetence?
