Barkley just needs to sharpen up a bit, he's lost the ball a few times. Gilmour you look an absolute legend so far.

We've been better offensively than I thought we'll be. Barkley and Pedro did f up some attacks, but they did have some good moves. Shame that Kovacic had to go out with an injury. Hopefully it's nothing serious. 

Gilmour & Kepa the best players in first half.

If Kepa keeps this up he’s definitely back in the side. Gilmour... Cool as cucumber.

Gilmour looks like he might be a better option for us than Jorginho going forward...............

That's my main concern atm. Whther we will drop off in the second half like we usually do

Seems a star in the making based on what has been said on here. Makes me wonder if Broja and Anjorin would look as good if given a chance.

To be fair Liverpool has their second string out. Some young boys there who wouldn't be even close to starting normally. We have a very experienced side with brilliant Billy there.

Yes match still open and I saw Salah and Firminho warming u earlier, an early second goal would be nice.

would be great to have a Scottish midfielder with great balance, control and the eye for a pass - it'd be like the good old days

fairly even first half, they have had more than a fair share of chances and you can expect them to step it up the 2nd half offensively.  We need to step up a few yards we are falling back to far allowing them time and space which will eventually hurt us.  A 2nd goal would definitely give us a bit of breathing room.  Lets hope we don't concede two early goals or we are screwed...  Gilmour, best player by far...Kepa look sharp..

Big 2nd half for Billy, Klopp is going to ask the front 3 to rotate in pressing Billy, so he'll have to cope with probably a little less time on the ball.

I'm still unsure what is actually wrong with Kovacic. I can't tell if it's his shin, ankle, or anything, he wasn't limping when he walked off, just walking slowly.

Good half from us, need a 2nd goal though.
