By all accounts this should be a very tough game. Sheffield are a very physical, well-organized and determined bunch this season. They've got something to play for and they'll be up for it. Very tough matchup for us.

I doesn’t look good. If we pull this off we will be nearly there I feel.

 

Any updates or rumors over there today on the injury situation?  Midfield is ravaged.

Can't afford to drop points, we could drop from 3rd to 5th with one bad week.

Forgot to mount the TV so I’ve cut a hole in the sofa and put a bucket down. Ready to roll.

Like Jorginho back in the line up.

Not sure Tammy is a good option against this tidy and physical defense. Hopefully Giroud comes in the 2nd half and open things up.

I would have preferred to see giroud start.

I'm not Girouds biggest fan but not sure why he's dropped for this one 

I just hope Abraham doesn't pull that sh*t he did during westhams corner kick goal.

After banging on about him not playing for weeks you watch him go have an absolute nightmare. I don’t have much faith in my opinion 

Against one of the best set piece sides in the league we set up for only Zouma and James who are decent in the air and drop Giroud for Tammy?

That just seems to be asking for trouble. 

Tammy over Giroud is a ridiculous selection in this game.

I think the match will be easier simply because of the empty stadium. Teams like this normally get a boost from the home crowd. Easy win 3-0 to the Blues

He's probably being rested rather than dropped. He's 33 now, so he can't keep playing 2 games a week.

You have to move the ball quickly around the defence and when they push you need pace to get behind them, Giroud hasn't got the pace needed for this game.  I think the front 3 will cause them some problems. I'd rather have Kovacic in the middle rather than Barkley although he has just come from injury.
