Thats going to happen, right? Hes been outstanding since he came, he has fit right in at the club immediately and is showing just why we paid a decent wedge for him. Long may it continue. Not sure how vocal I was, but I didn't feel right about the signing. The fact he's working out gives me hope that our scouting team know what they are doing. I wonder whether if we signed Rice we'd have the same reaction.
October 22, 20205 yr Chilwell well worth every penny Chelsea paid for. Match against Seville when Kurt made a mistake he gave his all to keep the ball safely. That kind of sprit will lift whole team. Of course it's his job to defend but stood up for teammate s mistake was joy to watch.
October 28, 20205 yr The thing is Chilwell is going to make mistakes with how much he bombs forward, it's inevitable. But the fact he has made such little mistakes so far is very impressive. Solid defensively and solid going forward, I also like how comfortably he is on the ball, very similar to James in that aspect. Scary how much of an upgrade he is over the other two we have there.
October 28, 20205 yr He is by far the best transfer so far and that includes Mendy who is spectacular. Ben is shutting the haters down, me included. Keep on with the good work lad!
October 28, 20205 yr I am concerned he might be overplayed, the drop in quality between our starting LB and what is in reserve is second to only our Goal keeping situation. I hope Lampard rotates the squad well and allows players such as Silva, Mendy & Chilwell sufficient time to rest up between games.
November 5, 20205 yr I’m really struggling with Chilwell at the moment because he walks like a pigeon. He is such a massive upgrade on Alonso defensively and he’s well rounded. He is our left back for the next 6/7 years and he’s got a goal and assist in him. I just wish he would walk different.

This is on the same level as Fergie saying that he didn't like Henderson because he runs funny

November 7, 20205 yr He’s just as good on fantasy football too for anyone who plays. Clean sheets now and he’s good for an assist or a goal. Can’t believe I had doubts about him from reading Leicester fans comments.

November 7, 20205 yr Chest out, arms funny positioned, walk. You’re all watching for it now, let’s be honest.
November 7, 20205 yr 2 goals and 2 assist in five games. Now imagine how many Tagliafico could have had if we signed him!!

He is such an improvement on Alonso he can be whatever winged beast he wants to be.
November 7, 20205 yr Ashley Cole apparently recommended him when I think 90% of us on here didn't see it. Thanks Ash, hooked us right up! What a player!
November 8, 20205 yr I had doubts before we signed him but he has been immense on attack and defense! Awesome!
