One thing that United are good at is running at defenders in the box. We don’t do that enough - our wide players will quite happily pass it side ways before running at nervous defenders.

Running at defenders and falling over at the slightest breeze which 9/10 isn't given but for them its more inversely proportioned.

If we were to get everything, we should've gotten that handball vs Leicester as well... as I said, as an oppo fan you tend to forget the ones we didn't get. Right?

I have more fun moaning 🙂

How can anyone claim that was a penalty, its ridiculous. VAR is a farce now, open to abuse as we've seen. A player trips himself, quick review and penalty given. Utd player gets azpi in a headlock, barely even looked at, no penalty.

Since I don't watch every game you play I can't really comment about it... regarding getting every call, why didn't Mings get a red/yellow and we a penalty yesterday if we get every call? That was more of a penalty than the one we got! I know as an opposition fan you tend to see the soft ones we get, but miss out on ones like that... and I'm exactly the same when I'm on the other side of the fence.

Regarding Liverpool, they seem to be more direct and straight for goal from what I can tell. We tend to occupy the oppo penalty area and just stroll around... many times losing the ball and getting nothing out of it. That's my best guess for comparison

Come off it mate, how many penalties have you had since Ole has been there? He's had nearly 50 penalties in not even a 100 games of management, that's absolutely ridiculous. You're definitely getting the rub of the green when it comes to referee decisions. Maguire wrestled Azpi in the box and nothing happened, that would've been 3 points to us at Old Traffird.

read a journo today saying that if United won tonight and got into 2nd place it'd be the first time since 1997 that Liverpool and United were the top 2 - he added that this would be the shot in the arm the Premier League and the TV companies desperately need..........

Strange comment, considering United and Liverpool were the top 2 clubs in the 2008/2009 season.

We finished 3rd that season (Scolari and then Hiddink coached us).

You found every Journos weakness, looking up proof of their bullsh*t claims.

Shot in the head more likely, as this is probably exactly the scenario that the FA want as a justification to have a season in the midst of a pandemic. I can't stand the conspiracy posts like "everyone is against Chelsea and pro anything in red", but I'm willing to make an exception in this case.

Here's a video of the incident I'm talking about. Don't tell me that's nothing...

For me it is a foul yet here is the thing it didn't affect the play, the Villa player in front of Pogba clears it.

Mings led with his arm trying to move Pogba out of the way yet it looks like his shoulder barged Pogba in the mouth rather than an elbow.

On a similar vein what did you think of Maguire on Azpilicueta when we played you?

If I was to compare those two... both were penalties, but the Mings one was more of a penalty because of the dangerous play. He went all in with an elbow to the head when Maguire just did some heavy hugging. But both were penalties...

That's the thing as a United fan you've seen so many 50/50 calls go your way that you assume both were stonewall penalties, majority of the teams do not get those given as penalties.

So we have well and truly kick started Arsenal season and gave Arteta the basis for the team he needs to get him out of trouble 😂😂😂

The irony if they finished above us FFS

What is the point of West Brom? Utter sh*te but seem to get promoted again and again. I hope they get flushed for good this time.

Well at least they took points off Liverpool regardless of what happens next, though I would like also to see them grab a point against Arsenal though two goals down at H/T in the snow looks doubtful.

Fair enough.

Brana looking absolutely horrific - should have retired on a high....looking really like a bang average pub player w/o superstars around him.

West Brom made a mistake in getting rid of Bilic imo.

I don't think it would have mattered, they are still sh*te whoever would take over.  Defensively they are a mess and like us can't score.
