Thanks DidierDrogbalala.

A good win and hardly any mention about us missing nearly half the team. I would say every Saints fan was worried looking at the bench last night.

It is nice watching us putting in the effort they do but, putting the effort in is the bare minimum for any team really.

The thing with Ralph is that he seems to be enjoying it here. Looking at the training pics the club show, everyone looks like they're laughing all the time.

I hope he's with us for at least a couple more seasons before the obvious offers come in for him!

I watched the game last night and the performance was very reminiscent of Athletico Madrid, not just the defending but also the calmness on the ball when looking to play out from the high press with runners going wide on both wings. I thought the 1-0 flattered Liverpool, Southampton had at least 3 good chances and should've won by more.

I took a look at the highlights and a very clever goal by Ings.

One touch perhaps a bit of fortune as one Liverpool defender did not move out and appeared to have kept him onside.

Ironic of course that Ings used to play for Liverpool and as we frequently see old boys can come back to haunt us.

Yeah but did you know Liverpool are missing Van Dijk?

Been an admirer of Southampton in the past year. The resilience and mental resolve of the squad and the manager after the 9-0 drubbing has been fantastic.

They've always been an entertaining side. I thought they were going to bottle this one mind, as they've done a few times against the big teams this season after leading, even against us. Nice to see them get the deserved win.

The EFL semis should be interesting tonight.

Ole vs Pep.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Utd go through.

If City play like they did v us on Sunday, they should win.

Don't care which Manchester side win tonight as long as they go on to win the final!

Typical that City would have a sh*t performance after a worldie vs us. Hopefully Guardiola will sort them out and they’ll be better in 2nd half.

We did everything we could to make them look good.

Or it could be that we are f**king awful at the moment? If you can use Liverpool as an example to give Frank the benefit of the doubt, then surely you can use this game as an example.

City appear to have fixed their defence that cost them last season. Though Liverpools exceptional form would have had them beat to the title anyway. Cancelo and Diaz have been huge for them.

Easy for City.

As disappointing as our defeat was on Sunday and as poor as some of our players were, when they are on song, they are hard to live with.

Hope they Batter Spurs at Wembley.

I had to pop out and see Stones scored first was that from a corner?

Shaw a poor corner at the death.

I also notice Mason's corners have been a bit mixed recently and suspect the pace of the game is taking away from his control of set piece deliveries.
