First International break 1 point clear. Next one 3 points clear. The man knows how to get the business done. It's not really him that I question this season, as far as I can see the main issue holding us back from really asserting ourselves as the best team in the world is our finishing.

Luckily for us we're still not even a quarter of the way through this season with 5 trophies still to play for. Sounds like plenty of time for our players to learn how to finish ruthlessly.

Other than a few managers have tried to achieve that level of ruthlessness since Costa and have not succeeded? Lol

Time will tell, but for the amount of money they are being paid the majority of them should be able to finish when they're in front of goal. At least at a rate more consistent to what we're experiencing now.

I still maintain we have a lot of elite finishers in this squad. Mount (not so much from the pen spot lol), Pulisic, Ziyech, Lukaku to name a few alongside the wingbacks. All know where the goal is and I've seen them score some elite goals for us and other teams.

Kai and Timo I'm convinced is more a matter of time before something clicks with them and they bring their goal scoring form from Germany to England with them. I can understand the transition period was hard for them and they need at least 3 clear cut chances per game currently to score.

To really challenge we need two consistent goal scorers perhaps 3 and the rest of the squad to carry on chipping in.

One of those will be Rom I have no doubt he started the season exquisitely, some games he was only getting 1-2 chances per match and still scoring. That's elite, now if another 2 players step up from the aforementioned list we're really in business.

The Manager of the Month curse is that powerful that our results already started confirming to it before it was even announced!

12:30 Saturday kick-off after an international break and now this on top!

Another example of how his standards come out in the wash when the players are all on the same page. He even got a tune out of Zyeich today which was impressive.

On Motd he rated our performance a 7.5/10. Modest.

I was hoping a 8/10 game and 5:0 at OT next weekend , thanks to Ole and Harry it probably wont happen.

Love his hunger, like he said he's pushing the team to get the third game to secure the game, a far contrast to 8-9 months ago when we were edging out those 1:0 against the likes of Shifield United.

Definitely won't happen, game is at the Bridge  😉

Tuchel is so defensive though 😂

The team he's built in nine months with one signing is astonishing. I think it's clear we are real title contenders already and for that the manager couldn't be praised enough. Last season there was a few on here that seemingly concocted ridiculous reasons to dislike him (hates/dislikes Hudson Odoi was one of them)  I wonder what some of them are thinking right now looking at us.

I guess the only worry (nice problem to have) is that one could argue we look so much better without Rom up top.

Difficult decisions to make for TT

We would be in an even better position if sides stopped rolling over for Pool and City like Arsenal and Everton did this weekend.

If only more actually tried like Palace did at City, far too rare and occurrence.

No-one rolls over for anyone.

Are our rivals claiming Norwich, Leicester, Spurs etc rolled over when we played them? No, just beaten by the much better side on the day.

Did you miss Uniteds display at Watford?

Even if United rolled over, I think it´s a stretch to call Watford our rivals.

Was not calling Watford our rivals. Merely pointing out that sometimes sides do actually roll over for other teams.

No one rolls over, sometimes things just happen.

Back when it was United and Arsenal dominating the league we use to get constant good results vs the former but couldn't beat the latter for sh*t, do you think that was deliberate?

No not at all, a mental block more than anything. We stopped believing during the game we could get a result, happened to Spurs for 11 years against us.

Some teams do show up and are already beaten before a ball is kicked, then it is up to the better side how big a score they wish to run up. Nibs brought Norwich up, who got tanked by both us and Pool, and I dont remember if they faced City or not already. Came to make up the numbers not to compete.

If you prefer the the term Everton and Arsenal were mentally beaten before a ball was kicked this weekend, rather than rolling over.

Interesting reading his comments today saying that he is super happy at the club, feels it’s really well run.

Compare that to Mo Po who seems unhappy for the same reasons at Tuchel when he was there. Too many politics etc. It all seems perfect at the minute doesn’t it. We’re ina good place after a dodgy 2/3 seasons where it looked like we were dropping out of the so called elite.

Just wondering where people see Tuchel so far in regards to Jose, Ancelotti and Conte. Where would you rate him against those guys?

I think Jose made us the club we are now, Ancelotti played the best football I've ever seen us play. Then Conte changed the ethos of the club which is still there now.

Tuchel seems to have taken what Conte started and pushed us to a level near what Ancelotti had attacking wise with that defensive solidity.

If you factor out the c**t Conte was in the second season I'd say level with him just below Jose 1.0.
