Looks like we are matching the blades exactly. A target man and speed player playing off him, and Mount in the Fleck role behind them.

Norwood is their Jorginho,  lundstram their Kovacic.

Is Pulisic nicked up? Or just not chosen? If he can remain healthy, I prefer him over CHO, though he is not in the XI either but one the bench.

His short burst of speed that was electric last season has not been there.  Wouldn't surprise me if we don't see the best of him again until next year.

Why break the Jorginho Kovacic duo in a must win game ?

Every game is a must win game though.

It's not about breaking apart the midfield, it's about keeping them fresh for the more challenging games. The extra 10% of fitness can make a huge difference.

So some reason the line up does not fill me with Confidence. Chilwell was hopeless against Wolves, Giroud is up again big physical players.

Guess we will see. We could not have asked for better this weekend. United, Leicester, Liverpool, Everton, West ham and Arsenal all drop points. I would if this team had the desire to beat the Blades. Just have a feeling they dont for some reason.

They get through a lot of work, a rest is probably best especially for Alonso who’s not played for months.

yeah last match he covered the most distance too with 11.6km in front of Mount 11km.

This is a Championship team, without their 12th man, i don't care who plays, no excuse for anything other than a handsome victory and performance.

You have just embraced that profile pic of yours right there.

Final form of Tuchel when he starts eating bacon

I like the idea of Giroud up top. Nice rotation with a different look today. I am not sure if Werner is in an attacking MF role or two at the top. Either way, I like the idea of Werner and one of Tammy or Giroud paired with him.

Question: Here in the States, some of the football call in shows are talking about how Tuchel has returned Chelsea to Sarri ball. I feel it is a little more like Conte with 3 at the back and wing backs on each side aka Alonso and Moses in 2016-17. I just don’t see Sarri ball so far. Thoughts?

As poor as the stretch from early November through Frank’s departure was, with a win today, we are only 1 point off Fourth and 4 off Third with 15 to play, which seems incredible to me.

I would like to see us grab this one right out of the gate and win comfortably 0-4.

Come on you Chelsea!!

10-0 to us then?

Match cities win at Liverpool, seems a fair challenge.

Yeah there are none. They are not the same team without Henderson or O'Connell, be a huge blunder if we dont win this and that will happen if we do not match their work ethic.

Not a particularly inspiring line up but should be enough to get the job done. Big night for Chillwell I think, been very poor going forward as of late and really has to prove a point to Tuchel in the wing back role.

It is exciting to have all these amount of players in disposal and very exciting but my only concern is with all the attackers we have, is that there is never that consistency, because of the huge chopping and changing. It is good to have depth in the squad with all the turnaround in fixtures, but we literally have so many attacking players at disposal. I assume Pulisic has picked up another injury, but it is not even that ludicrous to suggest that even with the 9 man bench rule allowed, we just have far took many players and players sometimes won't make the matchday squad....

I think it's a bit of both. The way the wing backs get forward is very much like Conte, but the way we keep possession for the sake of it without creating many good chances reminds me of Sarri ball. The game against Wolves was incredibly boring, we created nothing. The game against Burnley was much better, but the Tottenham game was pretty much as bad as Wolves.

I would like us to create more than we do. We spend the first 20 minutes just hanging on to possession and creating nothing. By the time we kick on a bit, a huge chunk of the game is gone. I don't think this type of style suits Premier League football.
