we had one great move ending with a cross to Alonso on the back post whose shot went just wide.

we're looking pretty good. the odd miss pass letting us down.

This has been fun so far. Quite a back-and-forth game, which is far more enjoyable to watch than the... ahem... more Sarri-esque performances in the first couple of games under Tuchel.

Kanté has won the ball in the opposition half four times already*. On two occasions doing so has sparked a counter-attack which made it to the opposition box. Shame on all of you who doubted his brilliance.

On a separate note I'm starting to enjoy watching Werner. He's really electric, really alert, really direct.

Couple of dodgy moments in possession from Rüdiger - probably Zouma and Kanté's fault.
