Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2021/22

United are some lucky bastards. How they manage to come away with three points after consistently being sh*te is amazing.

With good help from the referee of course.

Unbelievable that Man Utd could win this, everything is going their way as per normal.

Even read a rumour that the Premier League might allow Utd to change shirt numbers as a special case so Ronaldo can get his favourite number 7 shirt.

That would be really showing bias if true.

I didn’t think final numbers had to be submitted until the window closed - I’m sure they’re allowed to change them if they want to.

Wolves pulled the same sh*t against Spurs. They are playing like Sheff United did last season. Decent until they get to the final third. If they don't sort it out they are heading down.

I don't think they are quite as bad as Sheffield United. Wolves are actually playing really well, it's just poor finishing that is costing them.

You could be right but I thought it was something like once a player has been registered for that season with a number and plays in any match then it can’t be changed unless the Premier League grant you special permission or that player leaves the club vacating that shirt, basically Tammy and Lukaku and the number 9 shirt at Chelsea.

Cavani has been registered and played today in the number 7 shirt.

Like I said you could be right though, I guess we’ll hear more in the coming days.

Think this can be interpreted both ways. Saying that... I don't particularly care:

Honestly who cares. It is just jersey number

With Ronaldo it’s his brand. The difference will be millions for player, club, sponsors etc. Not to mention little brown envelopes. I still prefer like the old days the club has the numbers and are allocated to the player on a match basis. This of course though has no monetary value so won’t happen unless like Burnley last week had 1 to 11 squad on the pitch.

I almost felt sad for Arsenal but then I remembered how they bantered us when we lost against them in the FA cup and when Lamps got the sack.

Feck 'em, I'll enjoy the schadenfreude

I'm a bit more sadistic. I like it when they get a reprieve, it gets their confidence up a bit. It's so much funnier watching them go into meltdown just as they think they have turned a corner 😆

Leeds have signed Daniel James from United for £25 million. Seems like a lot for a pretty average winger !

That’s cheap for a cheating, diving c**t in the current market. The chief one moved for £100mil after all.

If you were Real Madrid, would you be going in for both Mbappe and Haaland in the summer?

No because I’d be f**king skint with the bank on the blower every 10 minutes wanting their money back :laugh2:

Edouard could be a tidy little signing for Palace - they’ve lacked up front for seasons and seasons.
