Xavi certainly has the football intelligence you would presume and he was a really down to earth guy, he might do well.

In the end of the day he has a nice squad to work with so if he can build the team around the younger talents and find some good replacements for Busquets and Pique in the future, by all means he can get Barcelona back to the top of the league again. Guardiola was very average prior to inheriting that best generation of Barcelona and Spain so the lack of experience might not be an issue for Xavi if he is given the time.
