Unless Liverpool start rolling out their first team we are strong favourites for this now.

did you see us last night? - the EFL cup side needs some improvement

Well City finally lose in the league cup. Shame Spurs and Pool are through.

Glad Pool are through. More games for them the better. even though it’s mainly reserves they play the more strain in their squad the better.

Is true, let's hope Spurs get Arsenal and Pool go to West ham lol

I imagine we'll start playing the first team in the upcoming rounds, if not in the quarters certainly the semi (if we make it).

I guess 9th-placed Barcelona have finally had a whip-round and given Koeman the boot.

And they are going to replace him by the vastly experienced Xavi who managed Al-Sadd for 2 seasons.

how funny it would be if Barcelona was to play conference league next season

Someone or other pointed out that it is entirely possible that Barcelona could come third in their group, then get knocked out of the Europa League by David Moyes' West Ham.

I actually think that Xavi as the new manager of Barcelona can be very scary for the future. He was really the boss of tiki-taka so he can do very well as a manager.

He could be the next guardiola. Xavi certainly has the football intelligence you would presume and he was a really down to earth guy, he might do well.

In the end of the day he has a nice squad to work with so if he can build the team around the younger talents and find some good replacements for Busquets and Pique in the future, by all means he can get Barcelona back to the top of the league again. Guardiola was very average prior to inheriting that best generation of Barcelona and Spain so the lack of experience might not be an issue for Xavi if he is given the time.

He has a couple of gems 💎 I really like Gavi and Pedri.

Leicester have been f**king sh*te!

Surprised result given how bad Arsenal have been but Leicester have been hot / cold recently.  Arsenal now only 5 points behind 😱

Harvey Barnes looked good for them second half, Ramsdale had the sort of game keepers normally reserve for when they’re playing Chelsea though.
