At first glance it appears to be a 4-3-3/4-5-1, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually their usual 4-2-3-1 but with Fred on the left to specifically counter Reece James.

Got a bit excited there, thought we’d bluffed everyone.

Not sure about Tiago against CR7...I guess they are both old but CR7 will have the extra pace.   Thought Havertz might be in if Werner played.  Still good pace up front and RLC in the middle makes me happy with his size and strength.

I think Werner is starting because of his connection with Ziyech. Ziyech needs runners to get on the end of his passes and i feel like Havertz and Ziyech both want to occupy the same space on the field...

Really smart team selection from Carrick. They could not set up better to shut sundown.

Looks like MU will park the bus and try to nick a goal via Anthony Taylor PK. CR7 and Greenwood might come on in the second half if MU need a goal or 2.

it's just damage limitation, we should still win easily
