Well I started FA Cup Final day with a glass of single malt whisky. It was a Caol Ila. A fine drop. Off to the pub in a while for a few beers and a meal before heading to Wembley. As I posted earlier I don't care who scores as long as we win.  Much beer could be drunk today.

The only question is if I go and get my hands on some Smirnoff in remembrance of Roman. After all the club is completing the biggest sale in sports history so a final cheer for Roman would be nice...

Lovely day for it!  Not a cloud over London it seems from up on the downs. 

Stats don’t win games, players and teams do. Still this is an interesting analysis, if your interested in that sort of thing. Our defence is not as good as last season, all our best attack comes from the centre and the right and we are good at attacking but poor at scoring. Liverpool press higher and harder.

If Edward Mendy wears a pair of Peter Bonetti ‘goalie gloves’ from  circa 1970 ish and we win today I’ll be delighted.😀

Never wanted the FA cup more than this one, back in the 'Drogba will sort us out days' I always felt like we would win and always did, maybe took it or granted a bit.

Now it's so hard for us to get it over the line. It would be too cruel to lose again, smile on us lady fortune!

Maybe he should go old school and wear no gloves at all

maybe if it goes to penalties he just takes off his gloves, that would really suprise the Liverpool players

I’m going to a gig tonight so I’ve persuaded the wife for us to find a pub to watch it. Unfortunately we’re in Stoke so I’m presuming it will be full of Liverpool fans. 

We ended City's quadruple bid last season can we do it again today to Liverpool?

Team wise this is gonna be hard to predict, if TT gets his tactics right like we've seen him do for so many big games here then we could have a masterclass.

So many tough calls for TT, does he start the same front 3 from the last outing which looked pretty fluid, or does he tinker? Timo vs high line or Pulisic, Kai or Rom, Ziyech got an assist and hasn't had much playtime does he do a similar line up to spurs in the cup and have him on the wing? 

Klopp said he's unsure if will we play 3 strikers or 2, whether we will play 2 midfielders or 3. The only thing he is certain is that we play a back 5, so does Tuchel throw him off and play a back 4? It's unlikely since he uses the 3atb for almost all big games. 

Havertz and Lukaku to start together perhaps? They're yet to really mesh that well. Only thing I'm certain of is James, Silva, Mount, Mendy, Rudi and Jorginho start and most likely Alonso too.

We're exactly the club to spoil everyone's fun, we're horrible and I f**king love it.

I just can't decide if I want us to win by battering them 5-0 or a last minute penalty won by a player who should have been sent off and was offside, just to really upset the w**kers....

Feeling the game already. We need to win today so badly, I'm very optimistic and have faith in the players.
