i'm not really a big fan of thinking in marketing terms. I usually find all of these marketing things a bit nauseating to watch. I don't care about the marketing side. Even when i went to Stamford Bridge i was suprised with the amount of marketing in and around the stadium. I like interviews with players, i don't like these "funny videos with a brand"

Agreed but our new owners are business men and we have heard a lot about "growing the brand, tapping in to new markets" etc. Is just a fact of who owns the club now. Big money is for big stars. Sterling is marketable, that's why he got a big contract.

Seriously what players would Leicester take from us in exchange that we would be willing to let go?

Would not the Danish lad from Atalanta be better as a fullback/wingback option as he also has a great engine and can play both on the left and right?

Barkley, Batshuayi or Gilmour? or Colwill on loan

i don't know i just like Denzel Dumfries. He's quite the character as well and former captain at his club.

I think it may take a couple. Maybe Bats to cover for a possible Vardy departure,  possibly the return of Kante and Colwill on loan,....and then some cash as well

I said a few days ago Werner would be fantastic for Leicester.  Would be the perfect Vardy replacement and score tons.

We could offer them Pulisic to clear some deadwood and save 5/10m

Other than that Colwill or Barkley possibly.

Leicester would never pay his wages and even if he reduced it, I still don't think they would. Also, they have Daka who is a replacement for Vardy.

I can see Barkley going there if Maddison goes Newcastle.

I don't believe we will pay those sort of transfer fees anymore unless the player is not only talented but marketable. Fofana is not the latter.

Defenders are invisible when they do a good job. Good defenders make the whole team stronger and help win trophies. Attackers are completely opposite. When they do well you see their pictures everywhere, they are more popular and sell more merchandise than any other player on the team.

Rumours has it that the player we would be looking to give Leicester in part exchange could be Levi Colwill.

I wouldn’t be happy with that, there’s so many other players we could get rid of first.

Nobody wants our cast offs. They only want the up and coming players.

They were one of the club's linked earlier in the summer. If they were really clever they could get Broja as well, who they were also linked with, plus 50mill.

True, but I’d rather we just pay the cash.

Unless it was a year long loan.

To a degree that’s right but with the new version of FFP coming in from January they are in a terrible position

For those that don’t know the maximum amount you can spend on players will be in 2023  it is 90% 24 80% and 25 70%.

Leicester wages alone (£150 ish million ) is circa 85% of total in come  their amortisation is circa £60 million and agent fees around £12 million a year.

It’s very much back of a fag packet in terms of calculation but they over the last few years made profits from selling players of around £60 million a season and they don’t have EL football next season and unless they sale it’s highly possible that the 90% sum won’t be achieved and will be anything from 100-120% on player costs.

They are UEFA FFP regulations and not premier league regulations. We aren’t in Europe, so it’s entirely meaningless at the moment.

Obviously we have designs on European football, but we don’t have to worry about complying now.

I pray not but I think if we are serious about getting Fofana it might take someone like Kante to get him. I would love us to keep him as well though

Is that a joke? Why on earth would we need them? The only possible one from that list we’d be interested in Colwill and it wouldn’t be a loan.
