Apparently he has agreed terms with Bayern and Juve are set to accept their offer of 75mill euros up front with 15mill in potential add ons. 

Looks like we lost this one. However if he honestly wants this move then a real lack of ambition on his part and I am not so bothered then.

De Ligt is a natural RCB, Ake is LCB. So these two deals have no relation to one another, the main reason De Ligt started to become hot & cold for Juve in the first place was due to being forced left.

Lol shocker there, Bayern don't play silly money.

Was hoping that De Ligt would end up in London. Given the amount of money Juventus want and Bayern's history of not exactly spending huge amounts of money to get their players, you can never say never. But, it sure does seem like he is headed to Bavaria

Fingers crossed we are able to get the deal over the line without having to pay an astronomical figure

Think we will know by weeks end if we are still after De Ligt or not. 

Again, unless he specifically said its Bayern on nothing (only German media reporting this), we should be beating Bayern to a bid if De Ligt is indeed Tuchel's #1.

No, they'll sign him i reckon. We had our chance before anyone else was involved and even the player apparently was up for it. That hung around for a week or more before Bayern even got involved. These agents are talking to us and then touting their players on to other clubs. It looks to me that we must be offering poor deals to them. Dembele was done and dusted and Barcelona were pushing him out the door. Then all of a sudden it turns 180 degrees.

I think by weeks end we will know if we are still interested or have moved on. We were allegedly working on a bid last week according to Romano and that has turned quiet.

Juve would love that. But hopefully us and the Germanz will be sensible.

Do we want him badly enough?  Want is becoming NEED at this point. We need a few CB's and he is one of the best available.  It is becoming an ever diminishing list of 'wants' for us.
