I can’t remember which journalist it was but it was mentioned on a Chelsea podcast that Barca can only spend 50% of all of their sales and wage savings this season - so they have no chance for half the players they are linked with

They have to be linked to every player in this world, it is the only way they stay relevant these days. They can't even register freebies like Kessie and Christensen, yet they are linked with 40M, 60M transfers like Lewandowski and Raphinha...

Journalism in Spain is of the lowest level. MEN and Liverpool Echo look like saints compared to Sport, AS, Marca, Mundo Deportivo. It is just crazy how many lies and delusion you cand find inside those newspapers.

According to all those journalists, if Chelsea/City/Paris sign a player, it is because Barcelona did not want him, if there is a new Messi, Barcelona is entitled to his signature, their stadium is the best, their Academy as well etc. It is all a big pile of sh*te.

This is why I like both Raphinha and Richarlison.

Their teams were damn near relegated and neither one gave up the fight, in fact they both got better the more their team struggled.  I don't see either of them having the mental weakness of fair-weather Lukaku.

Utd have a kind of slush fund I can't remember the details when i got into the weeds of it but yeah they dont even need to win stuff anymore in order to be able to have busy transfer windows, Every window regardless of where they are in the table, Some of it comes from them being a huge club ofc sponsors all that etc but its their listing that has ensured them a fat wedge whenever they need it

And probably somehow! Every league and authority in football would jump at the chance to kiss barca's grubby cheeks!

Yeah i saw that and thought it might be a positive, Maybe deco did a lukaku on us, Pretty decent player but i guess for him its about the biggest pay off and that just leads back to us esp compared to barca
