September 1, 20232 yr He's a decent option for a second choice LB, if we could forget how much we paid for him 🤔 Most teams don't have a great second choice LB, when the time comes I prefer a natural LB than a CD playing as one.
September 1, 20232 yr It's being reported that United have given Cucurella a big old swerve and done a deal with Tottenham for Reguilon instead. Can't say I'm surprised. Disappointed, yes. But not surprised. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66676106 Edited September 1, 20232 yr by just

Apparently when he played for us against Wimbledon, it scuppered United's plan for a loan until January, as it meant he wouldn't then be able to play for us when he came back. Or something like that 🙂

September 1, 20232 yr Well Sterling was sh*t last year, now he's brilliant apparently after a few games. Who's to say old bird's nest head won't turn out the same ?

September 28, 20232 yr Excellent performance last night. 1st game in god knows how long, playing as a RB for probably the first time in his life against one of the best dribblers in the league currently in Mitoma and I think he did very well. Some great passes in there, and defensively very solid. Showed some proper passion as well, really got the crowd going at times! Surprised im not hearing more from the members on here about his performance as he was one of our best players last night. With Chilwell now injured, would love to see a Cucurella-Colwill left sided partnership. Really think we saw some of the best of Colwill last night actually playing as a LCB and not LB

When looking at the extended highlights it seems he got torn apart by Mitoma on several occasions. Surprised people think he had a good game to be honest. But then again ... highlights can be misleading.

I think he got a lot better in the 2nd half defensively but was still making many dodgy passes. I think he's a lost cause in all honesty, should be the first one out in the summer or January if we're lucky.
September 28, 20232 yr Man on a mission last night. Hassled, harried, intercepted, recovered. Best game in a Chelsea shirt by a mile. More please.

He did look a bit shaky at times of course, but overall definitely one of our better performers over the course of the 90

Definitely deserves a chance this season, last season can almost not be counted because of everything that happened with the club and with him personally. More performances like this and I dont see people complaining

September 28, 20232 yr he was the one who led by example from the second half onwards. at the end of the game he went in 200% in a 50/50 challenge, that was beautiful
