No @nonotnowjim misses him a lot too. I believe he still writes regularly to Tammy.

Lol - I actually purchased him for my son who is trying to learn how to play "football manager".

Bambi on ice was as meh in the game as he is in real life! 😂😇

I know Kante and Kova are out but surely we have other players who can play the defensive role? Reece or even Ampadu for example. Perhaps even that guy from Villa that we spent 20m on. All I know is that Gallagher is not the answer in that role. We may as well have played Havertz as DM 😉

Well It's Not Like Ampadu Plays That Role From Time To Time For Wales Is It

TT must have been at a different game than I watched.  So we were able to handle Leeds WTF..sure didn't look like it to me.

This is all starting to look very familiar. Substitute a handshake flare up in the first home game of the season for a public bollocking of the physio. Then comes the weird excuses. I suspect the next phase will be publically criticising the players.

Luckily this guy doesn't have Abranovich to answer to else i suspect instead of a contract extension being discussed it would be a severance package.

Our attacking has been awfull so far. Mount needs to be dropped. Havertz needs to be dropped. Pulisic can not be allowed to be on the pitch. Zieych can not be allowed to be on the pitch. Broja is injured and hasn't shown anything. That leaves us with...

Who is he insured with?

Legal and General? Axa?  Allianz?

Fully comp or third party ? fire and theft? windscreen damage?

On our way back from the game.

Totally out played out muscled and there was only one team that wanted it.

Mendy started it and we just couldn't fight our way back.

Must say cracking atmosphere, but very disappointed.

On to the next

Sorry about misspelling. Wasn't fast enough correcting it.

Not seen any of the game, sat in Seville airport. Sounds pretty grim viewing from reading on here and the odd match report. Mistakes change games, surely though the coach has to accept his share of the blame. Our play has now been pretty poor throughout 2022, is the system wrong possibly. Surely though playing players in their best positions is the key to success? Though one very telling stat I saw today…Leeds ran collectively 10.5km more than us, quite simply they appear to want it more.

We’ve spent millions and in attack we’ve been toothless for years. New signings and youth players coming through. Over hyped and overrated.

Tuchel can’t keep spending millions to try and get it right. He’s been here a while now and nothing has changed. I don’t see it changing either.

Auba, Ronaldo are just more bandages. This should be Tuchels Conte/Arsenal moment. Time to change it up and drop players.

It's not the players it's the system. This is so blatantly obvious.

How did we allow city and spurs buy Calvin Phillips and Bissouma to sit on their bench. They both would massively improve our midfield pivot

Because Kante and Kovacic are magically going to become fit for a full season.

How you ask?

Simply because Tuchel will hire back Eva Carneiro!

the dutch have an expression: achter het net vissen

meaning doing something without ever getting a result, a bit like the Chelsea attackers

Or...the coach needs to be sacked. Dude wouldn't know offense if it smacked him in the face. This offense is where attackers go to die - Raheem Sterling, come on down!

Just got back from Leeds. As I imagined, we played well against Spurs only to slip back to being dreadful against a team that fought and wanted it more. The moment I saw Silva and Reece fighting each other, I knew something was wrong, and instants after they scored their first after a defensive brainfart (yeah, I know Mendy tried stupidly to dribble but that back pass did not put him in a good position). From then on, they just wanted it more than us and believed in themselves. Cracking atmosphere and their supporters, as dreadful as Leeds supporters are, took them to the next level today. We also were on top form, especially during the first half.

Next, Leicester, and I hope charity FC does not show up and we revert to being great mode. Come on Chels!

I only saw the second half live.

I think Mendy's moment of madness cost us.

As well as having our best two midfielders out we had RLC at RWB so going a goal down against a very hard working side was always going to be a difficult task.

3-0 is painful and disappointing we could not pull at least one back.

This reoccurring theme of blaming the attacking players moreso than Tuchel is well and truyly bizarre at this stage. So quick to call the player sh*t over Tuchel's inability to improve any one of them.

Look at bloody Kulusevski at Spurs. Had zero output at Juventus and now under Conte at Spurs he has 6 goals and 9 assists in months of being there and is among the highest chance creators in the league.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Conte would be challenging for the league with this squad.
