What exactly is going on here? Liverpool bid and Brighton accept it, we just got lucky that Caicedo rejected them, now we're back to dithering. Caicedo has done as much as he can to force a move to us.

Why is that so hard to believe? He only scored 3 goals between January and May 2022. Lukaku wouldn't have even bothered trying last season. He's the last person you want in your team when things are tough.
