Every option he has is closed off so he only logical thing to do is a long ball to a forward.

He's old and experienced enough to know better.

Even that long ball won't be easy as the ball is passed in front of him to his right foot as he stepped back to give neto better angle.

It's the sort of play he should be doing to get into a goal scoring position, but he stupidly decides to do it in his own half. I have no hope for Badi anymore, but you're right, that was all on Neto.

Neto shouldnt have assed him the ball in that situation, Badi shouldnt have done what he did with it.

I honestly think critical thinking has been trained out of players now, its all system led, you must do this when you receive the ball and no actual thought is given to the circumstances. Just trying to turn players into mindless automatons who are micro managed.

Feel sorry for the guy.. start stop start stop for the last 3 years .. still plays like a 19 year old.. trying passes that aren’t on.. not reading the game.. be is a physical specimen and had a good start his lack of progression is down to us changing 3 mangers in 3 years and then the injuries..

This is the problem with buying young players .. very difficult to turn potential into performance.. this is a very poor environment for this.
