Weird seeing an opponent that doesn't press at all.

If they press they know we will pick them off but I am interested in seeing how long he keeps this tactic Steve cooper because once they start pressing we will get more chances

Just about worth the lead, though not by much.

Sterling, goal aside has been awful. He just can't dribble to save his life. That's why he was most effective arriving late for tap-ins for city, not starting deeper and having to run with the ball.

Koulibaly is a disaster.

We definitely need a 2nd goal.

Just making the same stupid errors since August. Not learning at all.

This may be a bust.

Not really threatening much in attack. Making it too easy for Notts Forest to defend. Sterling is giving the ball away and not really offering anything, apart from a tap in.

Azpilucueta is too cautious with the ball and playing the safe pass. Jorginho is Jorginho, just meh and lightweight. We have no real energy in midfield, no attacking threat down the right side. Quite underwhelming.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kova and Ziyech tbh. Hopefully Ziyech can show some of the same form he showed in WC, although I won't have big expectations in that regard. It would be nice to see something different. Maybe even Hutchinson (?).

Build up is way too slow.

When Forest have the ball they play faster than us.

We look like an Italian team playing for a 1-0 win.

We have too many players happy to pass sideways or backwards - an overhaul in personnel is badly needed.

Even Fofana for KK and an energetic midfielder would make a big difference IMO.

If we could get the ball forward in 4 or 5 passes that would make a difference rather than the 10 passes and still not past the half way line.

If I'm Potter I'm telling both Aubameyang and Hutchinson to warm up and warn both Havertz and Sterling to up their performance or they are being take straight off.

Pulisic needs the same warning, how can he be so weak.

Pulisic has one move: get the ball then run straight to the middle

Mount is trying but he has no impact

Kai sees the right plays but the team just can't read what he tries to do

Zakaria is fine but needs to keep his head cool

Koulibaly is just horrid

Silva is amazing

Sterling is not a winger

The rest has been ok

That half lacked a lot of quality, our attacking players have been terrible, especially the wingers. Koulibaly has been a disaster waiting to happen too. Wouldn't mind seeing Chalobah on for Koulibaly, move Sterling to the left and bring Ziyech on for Pulisic.

Why are we starting with Azpilicueta against a bottom of the table team...  he passes it backwards 90% of the time 🤕

Why not Ziyech or Gallagher.

Thankfully they gave us a goal.

No James no right sided attack - pathetic.

Exactly. We lack dynamism and energy. Everything has been pass pass pass pass

Nothing new.

As I said before without James we need more from Zakaria and he can't do it. It is not a surprise though.

More importantly if we want to play in this tempo, our attacker need to be more secure with the ball.

I know he's got our goal, but Sterling is actually terrible.

Another waste of money. Pisses me off. He's not a game changer. We went from Hazard to him and Pulisic. 😭

Our tempo is so slow that it cannot even be called a tempo

So so boring … so lacking in invention … play it forward even if it means risking possession, just do something exciting!

It's Azpilicueta he just kills the game with his over cautious play... and the message his name on the team sheet sends is the wrong one... wish he'd gone to barcelona.

To be fair, at least he has a goal in him. Pulisic, Ziyech and Werner didn't even have that. He's not going to take us to the next level though, his overall game just isn't good enough.

I think he's been alright. Trying to dribble into dangerous areas but gets hacked or tugged every time and the ref turns a blind eye.

It's Sterling and Havertz that have been poor for me.

Embarrassing 1st half from us any top team would be putting this Forest team to bed by halftime You can change as many players as you like but Potter needs to change this slow boring football

Agree for the most part - but that is no tap in. Not an easy finish.
