Id play both Enzo and Santos.

Santos alongside Caicedo.

Enzo further forward if he's on form.

If hes having an effective game 90 mins

If he's not 60 mins.

We will miss him when he's gone imo.

And if he stays he will continue to be an asset.

We've got much bigger problems.

We REALLY DO NOT miss him when he doesnt play. We look so much better and balanced. Guy went AWOL at old trafford when he needed to show up... all effort and no idea.

One of our bigest issues is the ease at which teams go through our middle, where Enzo plays. Basically, you're either a fan boy, argentinian passport holder or a chelsea hater if you think this guy brings anything to the side. The evidence over seasons is overwhelming

Hi Blue lightening I'm actually all three

I'm just applying for my Argentinian passport, affixing Fernandez photos to the wall and setting fire to my silk Chelsea scarf. 🙂

May I wish you the most gorgeous argentinian woman, food and new life. please take Enzo with you in your suitcase when you emigrate. If you have room for Garnacho, will happily pay the excess baggage.

Awful pass that sets up Lincoln's goal. Maresca should not be playing him every game especially when the gaps between defence and attack is huge.

Now teams flood the midfield because we try to start play from the back.

You're right he needs a rest, a long one.

Hopefully Fernandez can now do a hedgehog impression and hibernate until the Spring, when we sell him to anyone interested. So Bad.

Absolute cowardly dog sh*t last night, hid from challenges when hes supposed to be the leader, I wouldnt want him leading my shopping trip let alone a football team.

That pass was imbecilic at best, what the f**k was going through his head. He needs dumping now, though I`m almost certain he starts again on the weekend.

Sad to watch, bossed by a guy that my Son used to play against and with from U7's upwards and in Aldershot Academy (Ben House).

Mind you on current evidence Enzo would struggle to win a footrace with even that age group.

As for our so called (and I use the term loosely) "Goalkeeper" could have been watching an episode of Some Mothers do 'ave Em where Frank Spencer helps the local team out when the Goalie is short....all he needs is the fk***g Beret instead of a Cap.

I agree with Gol (to an extent).

I don't agree that Enzo is a big problem in this team. He gets lots of flak on here, and i guess that's mostly down to expectations against the price tag, but i maintain he is one of the few who is keen to roll up his sleeves, muck in, fight for the cause, get on the end of stuff in the box etc.

Said it before - but for me he is the Argentinian Dennis Wise. Solid player, not world class in anything. Scores a few. Will fight for the club and wind up the opposition

We need much more output from the legendary number 8.

I actually thought he was sh*t in the 2nd half. In the space of 5 minutes, he managed to mess up 3 easy passes and miss a sitter. That will be forgotten because of his ball into Cucurella, but it really shouldn't because too often these poor passes are costing us the opportunity to create a shot on goal.

thank that's a bit harsh. It was a high octane game, so natural that there wouldn't be 100% passing.

The header was behind him and thought he did well to get it almost on target.

He is the only player we have that consistently arrives in the box at the right time. He fights for the club and gets stuck in week in week out.

Argentinian Dennis Wise

Always shines against Liverpool, odd case.

So did Jorginho. In fact, no matter how sh*t we are playing, at home against Liverpool we always turn up if only to draw, with top performances from Jorginho before and now Enzo.

Wise V Enzo

Wise all day, every day in my team. Enzo is Enzo, a World Cup winner... but that was in part Messi carrying Argentina, Chelsea carries Enzo, Wise, at times, carried Chelsea and was part of the early foundations of our recent cup successes, also got that goal in the San Sierooooooo... Wise - Thank you, please.

I rate Enzo higher than many on here. He’s a key player for us and he was the player that got us into the top 4 last season imo.

However, if Madrid come calling at some point in the future then we should sell. There are better players in his position in the PL never mind elsewhere. He seems to be a key part of the squad though and it probably says a lot about him that our players have forgiven him fully after the chant.

If Enzo outlasts Maresca then things could be different but he’s always going to be a bit of a square peg in the current system. He looks much better when we play quickly and his best games for us this season might be in the Champions League.

Few sloppy passes yesterday that could have cost us but better than normal for sure.

Think we'd have a better balance with Santos or Lavia.

I guess James and Enzo get the nod because they fit the "try not to lose/win if we can 2nd" Maresca game plan... but they both appear like an awkward fit to me.

Do Real even Make such signings anymore if they are not free agents?
