The transfer of Joao Neves to PSG also shows the value of having a competent Director of Football in place. His release clause at Benfica was apparently exactly the same as that of Enzo Fernandez (€120m) and yet PSG got their man for €70m.

I suspect we may start to see this happen if we fail to qualify for Europe next season. Reece perhaps will stay a bit longer given his long career at the club, but the likes of Enzo, Caicedo, and Palmer will all want to be playing at clubs with genuine ambition to win things.

Reece will have 2 years left on his deal. I feel it is very likely blueco try to sell him.

we wont be in the CL next season imo, Rosenior is just another Potter, this level is beyond him , but if I am wrong on that I still think those players will at least explore the option of leaving.

Could have been a midfield trio up there with Maka, Essien and Lamps.

Yes. I suspect the rotation and resting is another SD level policy introduced to cover up their own stupidity. It's used like a Band-Aid: stuck over the shyte decisions they make to buy "fragile" players after failing to carry out due diligence.

Even worse, are the stupider decisions taken to dispose of players like Gallagher who has never missed a game because of injury and has CFC running through his blood. Why - because he didn't fit the bald clown's system - or because he was an easy player to make a buck from?

I think he'd be a loss - chips in with quite a few goals now. But I’m good with giving Santos an extended run, seeing what Essugo can do, hoping for Lavia, and allowing the no.10 to be between Cole, Pedro and Estevao.

Ultimately in the Prem our midfield needs more athleticism than Enzo offers. But he’s still a good player and price needs to be right.

I doubt he is going anywhere in January. Lets see if anything changes in midfield under Rosenior. However, if we end up outside European places as looks possible right now, I think Enzo will be one of those to request a transfer.

Terry and Wise were unlikeable to other teams, Enzo is unlikeable to us.

Difference is you could appreciate their quality on the pitch.

The club needs to sell, especially if we don’t make champions league. Because of the model the debt can needs kicking down the road constantly,not a lot of transfer value floating around the fringe team, bomb squad or loan army anymore.

First team players will have to go soon and I still don’t think Enzo is suited to the prem and of all the first teamers we could cash in on he’s the one I’d rather.

But who knows who could ask to jump ship and who the f**k would blame them?

He's probably more likely to double down and give Enzo a pay rise to £300K a week, and then triple down by making him the official club captain.

Anyone is for sale in this model at the right time. Enzo book value is still around 70mill. I reckon that is still too high.

Now Cobham products like Reece and Trev should help us kick the can down the road this summer.

Imo athletically Enzo is probably below average but still acceptable. But defensively he is simply lost a lot and because he is not fast, he can't recover.

Notice all of young Liam's notes went straight to Enzo and not our captain Reece F*cking James. Am I wrong to think the managers comms to the team should go through the captain?
