February 21, 20233 yr Knowing Conte, he'll go super extra defensive and suuuper c**ty. I expect their midfielders to kick our players all over and someone is going to get sent off.

February 21, 20233 yr I think Todd thinks it is what it is, maybe his bad and GP is his least worst option at the moment... We need to try to get back to normalcy and get more leverage by moving the ball faster from the back... And winningest up front around goal would be a big plus - shooting from the hip or boot or anything. Reach out and touch base with the new and old players... Take the bus to the oppositions scoring frame... communicate with each other - it's soccer right?🤠

But I reckon we are close to dishing out a thrashing to someone pretty soon. Starting with that shower of sh*t from north London next week Sp*ds 0 - 2 Chelsea. Then midweek Chelsea 3 - 0 German Town.............................once them floodgates open!
February 21, 20233 yr Author We’re owed 2 goals by the corrupt officials for the return match. The hair pulling saga and Mendys view was blocked for the other goal.
February 21, 20233 yr The ironic thing is 3-4-3 is probably the lineup we should be fielding here with James, Chilwell, Fofana all fit and Enzo our only fit/performing CM. To be honest with Gusto soon to be arriving we're probably building a 3 at the back type squad just as we're ditching it, can't make it up.
February 21, 20233 yr Glad Spurs beat WHU they might just get over complacent for us. We certainly need a bit of luck to get the confidence and belief back.

It really is the only positive at the moment and probably the only area where Potter deserves credit.

Gives James and Chilwell a bit more freedom going forward (especially to cut inside the pitch where I think James is best, never been that keen on him as a hug the touchline FB/WB) and Fofana's biggest strength in possesion is his dribbling ability so he could drive forward knowing Silva and Badia are still back there. So inadvertently it could actually help us in attack.

Well that fits in with what people were saying about he doesn't have a go to formation.

The way I see it, Conte at some point changed everything, then Sarri changed everything from Conte and then Lampard changed a little bit from Sarri, finally Tuchel changed a lot after Lampard. Potter didn't change anything from how it was prior, to the level where you could actually see that it's his imprint on the squad, as of yet... Edited February 21, 20233 yr by Gol15
February 21, 20233 yr On 20/02/2023 at 17:52, just said: We are gonna do this. We will come back from being behind twice. Then, 5 minutes from the end RLC will smash one from the edge of their box. It will hit the side of the far post fly out and hit Kane on the beak then ricochet off Dire's nuts and go over the line. Don't say that's far fetched people. Something very similar happened at Villa Park on Saturday. And hopefully somebody yanks Romero to the ground by his hair and we get away with it.
February 21, 20233 yr It is just me, or James looked a bit softer than we were used to, maybe avoiding tough challenges after the injuries he had?

February 22, 20233 yr If Kane and Song don't play and Spurs can only field 9 men then we might , just might be able to snatch a draw 😃👍....KTBFFH 💙
