February 26, 20233 yr Hopefully the new manager bounce will do it for us and Leed's new manager bounce will have already worn off!!
February 26, 20233 yr Always look forward to Leeds matches more than any other. I know some won't agree but feel there is more genuine hatred better us and them than any other rival we have. Makes the games rather tasty.
February 26, 20233 yr Either we come into this with a new manager or expect an even more toxic atmosphere than what we saw against Saints.

February 27, 20233 yr Assuming GP is in charge no doubt he will get roasted, and you just know he will make about 4 or 5 changes from the Spurs game because he will be saving those out of form players for Tuesday.....lose, and if I was him he might want to take a sick day on Tuesday.....and every weekend thereafter.
February 27, 20233 yr Be interesting to see the odds pre-game, I reckon Leeds should be favorite based on form 🤔 Smash 3 past them in the opening 22 minutes blitz to decide the game, or follow the usual patterns and find ourselves chasing a goal with 10 minutes to go.
February 27, 20233 yr Play a team with the balls to battle, this one will be a fight. Kepa James W.Fofana Silva Chilwell Zakaria Enzo Sterling Gallagher Mudryk DD.Fofana Edited February 27, 20233 yr by axman2526
February 27, 20233 yr Somehow don't see myself going through the pain of finding a stream for this one.
February 27, 20233 yr Chelsea 3 - 0 Leeds, Felix double and Aubamayang with one from the bench, this is when the pieces start to fall into place! I'm thinking one day at some point we WILL score a goal, it's inevitable isn't it? A deflection of somebody's a*se, a bizarre own goal, a penalty, a free kick! Something has to happen at some point!

That's the spirit. It's Leeds guys and gals, this is the game on England for us.

Didn't Johnny Bumstead score a goal off his arse against Leeds in 1988-89 season to turn things around after a bad start to the season?
February 28, 20233 yr The Guardian reporting that the Yanks want to stick with Potter through the summer so as to benefit from a pre-season, a recalibration (presumably that means a clear out of players) of the squad and the addition of the forward Nkunku from Leipzig. if that’s all true, oh dear………#PotterOut!
February 28, 20233 yr He has tried to stick with the 4-2-3-1 to give the players some sort of tactical familiarity - probably not the worst idea but it's clear as day now it doesn't work for us. I think we have to move back to a back three to give James and Chilwell more influence on our attack. I would go with: Kepa Fofana Koulibaly Badiashile James Chilwell Enzo Zakaria Mudryk Felix Sterling Another option is to switch Mudryk with Mount or Gallagher in a 3-5-2 I would keep Auba and Ziyech as far away from the squad as possible - not because I have anything against them but simply because we tried to get rid of them and having them back in around the squad really cant be good for morale
February 28, 20233 yr What I want: Kepa James Fofana Badiashile Chilwell Zakaria Enzo Sterling Felix Mudryk Fofana What i think we'll get: Kepa James Fofana Koulibaly Cucurella RLC Enzo Madueke Felix Sterling Kai Edited February 28, 20233 yr by RIP Mourinho

February 28, 20233 yr So with Thiago Silva out for 6 weeks, and Dave still recovering from concussion (and unlikely to start anyway), who do we think gets the nod for the captain's armband for this one, and for the immediate future ? I would say Mount, be is not a guaranteed starter under Potter, so I reckon it will be Reece James ? There aren't really any other candidates. Quite worrying how few leaders we have. I suppose you could make a case for (ex-Napoli captain) Koulibaly, but same as Mount he has enough trouble justifying his place as a mere player in the team, let alone as captain.
