Tough match to talk about, loads of possession and loads of shots but no end result….sound like a common theme ?

Not sure that can be blamed on Potter, but there is a huge share of the responsibility on him for team selection.

The back five had trouble written all over it, never mind denying us of a natural attacking wing back in James.

Given our inability to score from up top and supporting midfield, how are we consistently ignoring Mount, Chuks, Gallagher, whoever else we individually feel deserves a chance.

Those selections are on Potter, he has to accept the criticism and fallout.

Tough times my pedigree chums, but stick together, let’s not get too contrary with each other, it’s all part and parcel of being Chels.

Moved from a back 4 to a back 5 to be better defensively, but now only picking 1 average centre back in the whole back 5 and wonder why we are leaking chances despite dominating possession.

Potty looked completely exhausted at the post match interview.  He also looked even more out of ideas than usual.

It's actually cruel to let him carry on at this point.  He's starting to look a bit damaged by it all and a defeat by a mediocre Liverpool will surely be enough for Todd. I could be wrong because I didn't think he'd make it this far but Potter and the whole team are looking like whipped dogs who need to be taken out of a very bad situation .

Potter is just a manager. We had plenty of bad managers in the past, even under Roman, and they were shown the door. We are having a crap season and Potter will likely be shown the door sooner rather later. But it is the owners you need to worry about if you are concerned about our future.
