April 4, 20233 yr Outside of Kai's one-on-one, it was a shame that the two best chances fell to Kovacic ...

April 4, 20233 yr When Havertz is good he can be very good but that is so rarely he is a complete passenger most of the time. The way he ambles about must be so distracting for other players. I’ve kept quiet about him up to now but my god this season has been dreadful. I’d imagine though that he thinks he’s doing ok as he usually starts and rarely gets taken off.

Disgraceful, they should be embarrassed. The thing that drives me bugsh*t though Scott, is that this is a multi billion pound enterprise, i cannot believe that there isn't a single bloke in the entire organisation that can play centre forward other than this woeful midfielder, who isn't good enought to play in our midfield anyway. Seriosuly put Mason Burstow on the pitch, he'd be better than Havertz. But its not just him, I genuinely cannot recall ever seeing a team as sh*t as thsi in front of goal. Its embarrassing.
April 4, 20233 yr I think the refereeing needs looking at... everyone team we play I see them pulling/pushing/tripping our clever players out of the match.
April 4, 20233 yr On the bright side, we have some talented f**king players at our disposal to look forward to. James and Fofana securing that right side. Gusto still to come in. Enzo and Kante. Mudryk looked lively. Nkunku still to come in. Lots to be optimistic about, particularly once a ST comes in.

April 4, 20233 yr Kepa - 6 - Had an easy game. Chilwell - 6 - Not at his absolute best today but nothing bad from him either. Cucurella - 4 - Better in the 2nd half, but I thought he was a disaster waiting to happen in the 1st. Koulibaly - 7 - Solid Fofana - 7 - Solid again. James - 7 - Decent at times. Enzo - 7 - Again, decent at times. Kante - 8 - Wouldn't know that he has been injured for so long. Brilliant tonight, never stopped running, wanted the ball even when it never looked on. Should have had an assist too. Kovacic - 3 - Horrible finishing and his risky play almost got us into trouble multiple times. Felix - 6 - Such a nearly player. No end product on the end of sublime bits of football Havertz - 2 - Closest I have seen yet to a Bakayoko performance. I can't stand watching him anymore, and I'm not having the bullsh*t confidence issues, it's a Havertz issue, he hasn't improved a single bit in his time at the club. I don't understand how nobody in the squad can do a better job at this point. He's lazy, he sh*ts himself in front of goal, he's afraid to get stuck in. He's as bad as Lukaku was at his worst at this point and I put almost all of the blame on him for us not getting the 3 points today. He's just lucky that we can also point the finger at Kovacic's awful finishing. Subs: 5 for all, none of them really did anything good or bad. Edited April 4, 20233 yr by Scott Harris
April 4, 20233 yr This might not be popular but IMO we should give Auba a chance for the rest of the season, I doubt he will be missing the chances we are missing.
April 4, 20233 yr Positives Kante back and straight back to his best. My MOTM and fully deserving of his title of 'ex mini driver of the year'. Who was it that thinks we should sell him? Fernandez, a midfielder who can sits deep, control a game AND create things. Now there is a novelty we haven't seen at Chelsea since the start of the 2018/19 season. Fofana, looking closer and closer to the player we rightly paid top money for. James, best wing back in the league by a country mile and possibly better looking than his sister. Negatives Felix is full of talent and far more creative than anybody else we have up top but no eye for goal. However with a proper centre forward in front of him I'll willing to wager he would become very important for us. He will create more than any of Mudryk, Pulisic, Sterling or Havertz. Kovacic, I still don't get it. He is a Leicester/Bournemouth/Everton midfielder. The only thing special about him is the remarkable number of vowels on his full name. Havertz, quasimodo with chemical castration is more likely to score. Even Russia abandoned communism quicker than we have given up on Havertz as a number 9.

The interim had a chance to do something different and didn’t. Literally can’t remember the last time I seen both of these sides so poor in certain aspects of their play. Couldn't agree more - he should have done a Jose on 65 minutes and brought on Mount/Sterling/Mudryk or something.

April 4, 20233 yr Apparently, breaking news. CHELSEA RELEASE STATEMENT CONDEMNING INAPPROPRIATE CHANTING FROM SOME HOME FANS DURING TONIGHT'S 0-0 DRAW WITH LIVERPOOL. In small print, it was about Anthiony Taylor so was probably true but he knows what he is so the chanting was inappropriately unnecessary.

April 4, 20233 yr Just now, loz said: Don't see the point. He will be gone in the summer. More sense playing Fofana Who's unsurprisingly disappeared after a promising performance against Saints. To which he was subbed off at half for, wait for it, Kai Havertz.
April 4, 20233 yr Thought we played decently tonight and really should have scored three, not counting the two disallowed goals! We looked solid enough at the back with both Fofana and Koulibaly playing well. In midfield it was great to have Kante back. His energy levels made such a difference. He was everywhere.

Imagine saying he was worse than two subs who only got what, 15 minutes? Felix at least had nice moments that he could have scored from if it wasn't for some nice blocks by the Liverpool defenders. Havertz ruined everything. Even late on he was too busy f**king about next to James instead of busting a gut to get into the box so he could cross onto his head, literally the one thing he is actually good at. Not unpopular at all. Too bl00dy logical probably, but a professional employee employed to play in a particular position, meanwhile no other bu88er can shoot for sh*t. Play the man, for the love of god, make him earn his money whilst he is here.
April 4, 20233 yr Watching Gallagher, James, and Havertz trying to build an attacking sequence on that right was honestly saddening.
